Shopping is for two male lovers expecting a child

"Yeah, yeah. Sure." Mike lifted the pair of jeans he had found earlier. "How about that? I know it looks like there can be three Williams in there, but you'll be glad we bought them in a few months."

William hung his head and pouted again. "Y-yes," he mumbled with a sad look on his face. He knew Mike was right, but he couldn't hide the fact that it scared him.

Mike smiled. "If we have time later, we can buy brand new skinny jeans for after." He kissed William's cheek. "Only nine months."

William nodded, trying to take Mike's words as reassurance. "Okay. Come help me look at shirts now," he said as he sauntered off to another rack, hoping that Mike would follow.

Mike followed William, spotting hideous tweed jackets along the way. "We need short sleeves and long sleeves." He looked away, trying to calculate something in his head and obviously failing. "In what month will the baby be born?"

"Well, it's April right now, so sometime around the middle fo January, I suppose," he said as he rubbed his stomach again, looking down at it with a small smile.

"Capricorn or Aquarius," Mike said proudly. "Either way, you'll need a large winter coat." He looked around. "See any top you like?"

William looked around. "I don't know. Do you see anything you'd recommend?" he asked as he looked around confused.

"I repeat - you are the dude usually wearing girls' clothes. I'm not." He picked up a fitted dark red t-shirt. "Do you like it? Red looks good on look. Like pretty much everything, but yeah. I like red."

William smiled. He looked at the shirt carefully and nodded. "It looks nice enough to me," he said as he kept a hand protectively on the lower half of his stomach as he walked towards another rack of clothing.

"Good." Mike saw similar shirts in various colors, so he took them all while William was looking away. He followed him.

He looked through the rack carefully before walking to another one. He picked up a striped shirt and turned around. "Does this look okay?" he asked Mike as he pointed to the striped shirt. It looked like one of the shirts the singer already owned, only this one was bigger.

"Yeah, it's perfect." Mike smiled. Aside from the fact stripes make anyone look three times bigger, yeah. He took it and put it on top of the pile of neatly-folded clothes he was already holding.

William sighed and looked back over at the counter. The employees were still staring at them. He smirked and continued looking around. He found another red shirt and three black ones before he turned back to Mike and smiled. "I'm ready to go if you want to," he said quietly, trying to ignore the employees.

Mike smiled innocently. "Aw, I was just starting to enjoy myself." He walked towards the counter. "Awkward," he whispered to William.

Still trying to tease the employees, William kept rubbing his stomach when he got up to the counter. The saleslady from earlier stared at him wide-eyed as he did so. It was all he could do not to laugh. Leaning over, he kissed Mike on the cheek again before turning to face the other saleslady as she started ringing up the clothes.

Mike leaned on the counter, using his elbow for balance. He grinned. "Those clothes suit you so well, Bill."

Mikey touched down outside the shop, drawing back his wings. He staggered slightly. "Figures."

Butcher landed with wobble and did a doubletake when he saw the store's sign. "Maternity wear?" He tried to hold in his giggles but it was hard.

Mike looked through the window behind William and saw Butcher, and then Mikey. He kissed his boyfriend in a hurry and handed him his credit card. "I'll be back in a minute." He quickly walked out of the store.

"Are we really that obvious?" Mikey wondered, shooting Butcher a look. "Wings!" He gasped as pain suddenly rocketed through his stomach and sat down abruptly on a bench.

Butcher pulled his wings in and darted to Mikey's side. "Is it worse this time?" He looked up to watch Mike approach.

Mike was fairly surprised not to be attacked. "What's up?" he tried, anxious.

Mikey nodded, teeth clenched. "Me thinks that someone more capable than a teenager with a penknife should have done it." He pulled a face.

Butcher put his hand over Mikey's scar and tried to work a quick fix on the wound like he had up on the roof of the Avian sanctuary. He just wanted Mike to be able to stand up and move if he wanted, but he knew he couldn't completely heal him.

"Hey Mike," He chirped causally. "Do you think we could borrow you for a bit?"
