We can be lovers

Xcelia raced into a B&B and threw herself at Hood as the sun began to rise.

Hood quickly pushed her against the wall out of the path of thw indow and leant forward to catch his breath.

Xcelia burried her head in his chest, breath coming in short gasps.

"I'll get us a room." Said Hood in between glances.

Xcelia nodded. "Right."

Hood turned to see the woman on the desk glaring at them and blushed realising how they must have looked. "Could I have a room please?"

Xcelia smirked, glancing at the sun outside.

The woman raised one eyebrow but passed the key across the counter once Hood had paid.

Xcelia moved towards Hood, staying out of the blaring sunlight.

Hood went over to her and wrapped one arm around her waist jingling the key by her ear. "Lets go upstairs."

Xcelia nodded shakily. "Right."

Hood started to drag her up the steep stair case.

Xcelia snuggled into him, needing to be out of the sun.

Hood unlocked the door and dumped the bag on the bed.

Xcelia fell to the floor, eyes clamped shut.

Hood quickly closed the curtains and went back to her.

Xcelia curled up into a ball.

Hood noticed the clock on the wall and sighed. He kissed Xcelia on the forhead. "I have some dogs to be seeing."

Xcelia nodded. "O...Okay."

"You'll be okay won't you?" Her said not wanting to leave her now.

Xcelia moved over to the bed and flopped onto it. "Yeah."

"I'll be back as soon as possible." He left jogging to pick up the dogs on time.

As soon as Xcelia was sure he was gone, she began crying.

Hood collected the dogs and took them for a walk around town thinking about life as he did.

Xcelia continued crying, tears turning to blood.
