Hood picked up the puppy and went and sat on the bed, he pushed the finger of the glove that he had just pricked in to the puppies mouth before squeezing some of the milk in to it's mouth.

The puppy lapped up the milk happily, squeaking slightly. Xcelia watched, a passive look on her face.

Hood looked over at her smiling then back at the puppy.

Xcelia sighed and closed her eyes, wiping some blood from her chin.
The puppy finished drinking the milk and began rolling around on it's back.

Hood put the glove back on the table and turned round. "We'll have to name it won't we."

Xcelia didn't reply, going into one of her moods. The puppy waved it's paws in the air.

Hood laughed, he leant down and rubbed the puppies head with a hand, letting it bite his finger as he pulled away.

Xcelia ignorned them, glaring into space. The puppy scurried across the bed and tumbled into Xcelia's lap.

"It'll stop shifting soon." said Hood desperatly trying to start a conversation.

Xcelia picked the puppy up and plonked it down next to Hood before going back to staring into space.

Hood shrugged and picked up the puppy. "You okay?" he asked.

Xcelia ignored him, glaring at the wall. The puppy licked Hood's nose happily.

"Fine." breathed Hood going back to playing with the puppy.

Xcelia humphed loudly, still ignoring them.
The puppy began chasing it's tail.

Hood ingnored Xcelia's strop and played with the puppy picking it up and rubbing noses with it.

Xcelia glared, bad mood growing worse.
The puppy giggled and shifted back into a baby.

Hood didn't say a word he picked up the puppy and went over sitting down next to Xcelia, he kissed her forehead.

Xcelia smiled slightly but other than that made no movement. The baby stared at Xcelia, eyes wide.

Hood sat it on his lap and looked between it and Xcelia. "Well, what more could I want than you two?" he asked the baby.

"For what?" said hood laughing and using his knee to bounce the baby.

"You can't blame yourself, it's a baby they cry at anything, and it hadn't been fed since it was born, everyone gets cranky if they're hungry." He put a hand under her chin tilting it up so he could kiss her.

Xcelia smiled softly and relaxed, kissing him back gently.
