We can be lovers

"Now, I need your help with a name for it." said Hood looking at at the baby.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" Xcelia hadn't checked.

"Good point." He hadn't checked yet either he lay it on it's back, "A boy."

Xcelia nodded slowly, "Right..."

"This would be so much easier if it, I mean he wasn't a human and a dog." said Hood, dogs or humans were easy finding something that worked for both was hard.

"baby woof." Xcelia muttered, smiling.

"Some how I think he'd be bullied." said Hood laughing

"But he likes that name, don't you baby woof?" Xcelia tickled the baby gently, causing the infant to giggle.

"He only giggled because you tickled him." Hood pointed out.

"No, he likes the name." Xcelia nodded, smiling.

"Well, we can call him that but what about when he gets older?" Hood said smiling at the way the babies eyes did seem to light up at the name.

"Ur...Erik?" Xcelia shrugged.

"Why not John?" said Hood, head on one side looking at the baby.

Xcelia smiled, "That's nice."

"So his name is John Husky or baby woof to the family." said Hood nodding happy with the name.

Xcelia nodded. "Sounds good."

"Now we just hae to wait and see if we're going to have a puppy or a baby to put up with till he can shift again." said Hood glancing at the clock.

Xcelia nodded, "Right."
John put his fist into his mouth and sucked it happily.

Hood smiled, "Any minute now he's going to end up stuck." he was nervous, he didn't know what way he was hoping this would go.

Xcelia nodded, not fully understanding the shifting thing.
John gurgled to himself happily.

Hood watched, "As long as your happy baby woof, I don't care." He said just as John changed in to a puppy.

Xcelia patted John's head. "Woof."

John gave a small bark and Hood smiled leaning his head on Xcelia's shoulder.

"Is he staying like that?" Xcelia asked.

"I'm not certain, but I think so. You don't mind him being a puppy do you?" said Hood not haveing thought that she might want him to be a baby before then.
