A promise for everything you never found...

Cyzarine blinked as she realised she was alone, before whimpering as her guard slipped and the fire burned again. Frowning, she let the guard fall completely, and continued whimpering quietly as the burns that should have appeared on her 'inner-self' appeared gradually on her own skin.
When she was done, she got up as best she could without using her arms (both of which were burned badly up to the elbow) and following the sound of angry voices.

Demyx took a step towards Mikey, slowly he removed the photo from his pocket. He held it out to Mikey and whispered. "She was different." He was crying a little now, tears slipping down his face yet he made no move to hide them.

"Mikey..." Butcher rubbed his arm nervously. "Mikey, Nick is dead."

Cyzarine listened to the conversation in silence, biting back more yelps of pain, as the burns continued to hurt, and a few stars danced back in front of her eyes. Holding back pain was so much harder after she'd used her power like she had just then. Still...she was pretty sure she had the information. She'd need to write it down again, but that wasn't what bothered her right then.
She swayed a little, feeling dizzy as she fought the pain silently.

Demyx turned away from Mikey and Butcher, turning to look at Cyzarine. "Cyzie! What happened to you?!" He gasped, staring at her in shock.

Butcher turned away from Mikey for a moment. "Cyzarine come here and I'll heal you," he offered since Demyx was in the way. In the meantime he knelt next to Mikey and spoke softly, "What do you need?"

Cyzarine smiled weakly at Demyx, before wincing as another wave of pain hit her in her moment of unfocussedness. "I..." she trailed off, falling to her knees so she could concentrate more. Standing up was proving to be too painful and energy-consuming.
"...got the folder." she finished, her voice tight and dry.

Demyx let Butcher walk over to Cyzarine. "Cyzie it's you that matters...Not the folder." The last part came out as a whisper. Suddenly he heard Mikey muttering and turned to look at him.

Butcher grabbed both of Cyzarine's hands, "You've got to stop doing this." He closed his eyes to concentrate on healing the burns this time and felt that they were both inside and out somehow, "How did you..."

Cyzarine blinked in surprise, forgetting all about Butcher's question. Her eyes grew wide, but this was nothing compared to when she realised the others could see him too.

"W-W-what in the name of Rock n Roll is that?" Demyx gasped, staring at the person standing next to Mikey.

Butcher didn't notice what was going on. He was too busy trying to figure out why Cyzarine seemed to have burn scars inside her brain. The ones on her skin slowly healed themselves at his touch and became healthy again.

Cyzarine stared at the scene in surprise, hoping Butcher would quickly become distracted. She doubted he would keep the truth to himself, and she knew that Demyx certainly wouldn't be pleased at what she'd done.
But was was pleased she had, despite the burning. She could heal her brain alone, and so set up the barriers used to hold back the physical burns to stop Butcher touching the mental ones.

Demyx continued staring at Mikey in shock. Slowly his attention turned back to Cyzarine. "Are you alright?" He asked shakily.

Butcher opened his eyes as he felt the mental barriers slide into place. He let go of her hands and stepped back with a confused look on his face, "All better now." He abruptly turned around to face Mikey again, "What the...?"

Cyzarine's expression relaxed into relief as Butcher let her go. She glanced to Demyx and nodded. "I'm fine." she replied quietly. "You don't need to worry."

[*bows down* sorryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! at least i moved it, right? *hides*]

Demyx didn't say anything, for he had just spotted someone..Someone all to familiar who was soaring amongst the angels.
"Rose..." He whispered, before sinking to his knees.

Butcher looked around in confusion. I give up on normal.
