William shivered until the door was shut, but continued shivering even after. "We're going to freeze to death," he frowned, teeth still chattering. He put his hands into the sweater's pockets.

Mike frowned. "Always exagerating." He walked up to William and softly kissed him for the longest time he could manage. "Just making sure they don't turn purple."

William smiled and rubbed his stomach in a circular motion, even though his stomach was the warmest part of his body. He shivered, snuggling closer to Mike.

"Y'know," Mike said thoughtfully, "if Matt didn't have the emotion capacity of a brick wall I'd say he'd be great at giving warm hugs. Excellent even." He bit his lip. "I hope Sisky's not freezing in the basement."

William punched Mike's arm softly, only keeping his arms away from his body momentarily for fear of getting even colder. "Be nice," he frowned. "And I'm sure she's okay," he shivered.

Sisky blushed, glad that it made her cheeks a little warmer at least. "Um Matt... I think they're done. Is that what hurt your ears?" Of course you heard, you can hear voices through the telephone. I'm sorry. It was awkward for me but really gross for you, right?

William heard Sisky's voice and blushed. Grabbing Mike's hand, he quickly walked back over to the kitchen and saw the fairy and Matt. He bit his lip, still blushing.

Sisky looked up when she heard footsteps and blushed, remembering all the sounds from earlier. "Hi. Uh... good morning." Her eyes automatically trailed down to William's stomach, and her mouth went slightly agape. Inwardly she took comfort in the fact that her own pregnancy was barely discernable. I'm not that huge after all. Compared to William...

William pulled out a chair for Mike and let him sit down. He took the chair next to his fiance and sat down slowly. He smiled, still blushing. "Good morning," he tried to hide his embarassment, knowing full well that his son and his friend had heard them upstairs.

"Um... William... how far along are you?" Sisky was still staring at his friend's stomach and trying to decide if it had grown overnight or not.

"About a week," William smiled sheepishly, knowing that his stomach was drawing a lot of attention at only a week along.

Matt let himself slide down the stairs, head hitting each one on the way down.

William's eyes widened. He stood up quickly, walking over to Matt as quickly as he could. He put his hand behind his son's head. "Please don't do that," he frowned.

Matt rolled his eyes silently, moving into a sitting position.

William bit his lip. He moved down and sat next to Matt silently. He moved another strand of hair out of his son's eyes.

William smiled at the boy, leaning over to kiss his forehead like a mother would do to their child.

Matt wrinkled his nose, but didn't move away.

William smiled and wrapped his arms around Matt, wondering if the boy could feel how cold it was.

Matt's eyes rolled inwards as he began to sort out the damaged part of his brain.

William looked at Matt with concern, but trusted that his son knew what he was doing. He moved a few more strands of hair out of the way of his face and waited.

Matt's black eyes suddenly rolled back. Fixed now.

William looked at his son with a smile and sighed. I'll be right back. Just stay here. He stood up and walked up the first case of stairs, walking past the kitchen so he could go up the next case. He tried to move as quickly as possible.
