William grinned. "I'm dragging you in anyway," he chuckled quietly, stepping onto his feet. He shivered as they hit the cold floor; it was almost winter already. He put an arm around Mike's waist and waited.

Mike didn't know whether William's walking pace had changed or not. He started walking very slowly towards the door, holding the boy close to him for warmth.

William shivered again and snuggled closed to the guitarist as they walked. He tried to stifle a giggle at how slow they were moving, but he kindof liked walking slow with Mike.

Mike hopened the door to the bathroom. Deciding William couldn't walk barefoot on the cold tile, he threw spare blankets on the floor to create a path to the shower. He closed the door behind them, and turned on the water, hugging William while he waiting for the right temperature to get in.

William kept his arm around Mike as they waited, smiling at how careful Mike was being with him. He leaned over and kissed the guitarist's cheek. He waited until Mike stepped in before he walked in and closed the curtain behind himself.

Mike let go of William to put both hands on his head, trying to untangle the mess that was his hair. He realized it had grown significantly longer. Lifting a dark streak above his shoulder, he gave a questioning look to William. "Cut or tie back?"

William bit his lip in thought. He shrugged. "I kind of like it better when it around shoulder length. It looks nice on you," he smiled, running a hand through his own long hair.

"Shoulder-lenght it will be," Mike confirmed. "Just right for the..." His eyes widened suddenly. He grasped both of William's arms. "Bill. The wedding. It's tomorrow."

William's eyes widened slightly at Mike's shock. He nodded his head. "It's been planned for that day for a while now," he smiled reassuringly. "We've still got some stuff we need to get done today though," he said calmly.

Mike's features softened, and his lips formed a grin. "I was starting to think it'd never happen. It seemed so far from now." He turned William around and squirted shampoo in his hand.

William laughed and moved over to the corner of the small shower, allowing Mike to wash his hair. He smiled. "I can't wait," he said softly, looking at the guitarist. As he leaned against the corner, William looked down at his stomach with a fond smile and rubbed the top of it.

Mike slowly massaged William's scalp with his fingers. "Me neither. I guess we can't really hide the pregnancy now, uh? It's definitely there." He chuckled. "What will Gabe and Travis say, I have no idea..."

William grinned. "Quite honestly, those two will never cease to surprise me. Let's just hope it's not extremely crazy," he laughed quietly, leaning back into Mike's fingers. He sighed happily, continuing to rub his newly stretched stomach. "How big do you think it'll get?" he asked.

"Well..." Mike thought, still gently moving his fingers. "You're the equivalent of one-month pregnant, right? I mean, normally. So...uh..." He laughed nervously. "Wow. Imagine at least four times...no, six time what you have now. A normal mom would barely have started showing."

William did the math in his head. "That's about...fifty-six inches," he frowned, looking down at his stomach suspiciously. "Please don't do that to mommy," he pouted, talking to his children.

Mike finished rinsing the boy's hair and hugged him from behind. "I think the egg is taking all that place," he suggested. "It's better to have a big mommy than two babies squished by an egg, don't you think? Baby omelette." He kissed William's neck.

William grinned and nodded. "Tomorrow we'll be married and in about two and a half months we'll have three children," he said, squirting some shampoo into his hands before turning around to rub it into Mike's hair.

Mike wrinkled his nose, afraid he'd get shampoo in his eyes. "Feels like everything's been on fast-forward since I decided to take you home," he commented. "But then we'll have plenty of time together. Everything happens for a reason, and I'm glad Russell turned me Avian."

William smiled, beginning to rinse the shampoo out of his fiance's hair. He made sure not to let any get in his eyes. As all of the shampoo flowed down the drain, William leaned up and kissed Mike's forehead, placing both of his hands on either side of the guitarist's face. "I love you," he whispered before leaning in for another kiss.

Mike brought William closer, letting their stomachs touch. For once Mike wasn't disappointed to see his own seemed almost perfectly flat in comparison to his lover's. "I love you too, and tomorrow I'll make sure everyone knows how much I do."

William blushed, adding even more color to his skin. He smiled and kissed the guitarist again. He moved his face down and kissed the man's collar bone with a grin, and then rested his head there for a moment, imagining how happy they could be together.

With William in his arms, Mike wondered if maybe, someday, the two of them would be able to raise their family and lead a normal life without having to worry about loss or war. Just then, for a minute or two, it seemed close, for once possible. He gently rubbed William's shoulder. "Come on, now. If you stay here too long you'll grow four more inches and I won't be able to move you." He grinned.

William's eyes widened slightly as he imagined if it could be possible. He looked up at Mike with his wide eyes, glaring at him for a moment. He smile and turned off the water, kissing the guitarist once more as he did so, shivering at the loss of contact from the steamy water.

Mike started shivering again. He rubbed William's arms before getting out. "Run?" he asked, although it was more of a suggestion than a question. He took the boy's hand and quickly opened the door, not caring for towels, and rushed back to their bedroom. He literally threw the bed duvet on William to keep him warm. "It's cold," he whined. He looked for clothes.

"It's mid-October," William said. "It shouldn't be this cold yet," he added, shivering from underneath the duvet. "I-I think I might need one of those shirts we bought a while ago," he said quietly, still shivering as the remaining water dripped down his body. He curled his toes together because of the cold floors.
