Mike laughed breathlessly, one eye open to look at William. "That was close," he told him, panting. He rolled on the bed to lay next to the boy and wrapped his arms around him, softly kissing his cheek.

The pale morning sunlight continued drifting into the room through the window, casting glow on both William and Mike. William kept close, his hair around him, tinted with sunlight; his skin glowing healthy as he rested in the guitarist's arms.

William looked over with a slight smirk crossed with a smile. "I chipped the paint," he said quietly. "There was no chance that they didn't hear us. I think that's the loudest we've been so far," he chuckled quietly, putting his hand ontop of Mike's on his stomach.

William shook his head. "Never have," he said with a small, sad smile. "All I've ever had is Ryland, and a few fake girlfriends on the side. They were only used for recruiting purposes and didn't mean anything," he shuddered, memories flooding back.

Mike smiled. "At the risk of sounding cheesy," he said, "I think we were meant for eachother." All these years spent alone had seemed to Mike like an eternity; he couldn't begin to imagine how William had felt. "When Matt will see us, he'll forget what happened with Ryland. I want you to do the same." He kissed the boy's cheek. "I'll give you all the love you should have had."

William nodded, smiling as he snuggled into Mike's chest again. He looked up at the guitarist and kissed him, nothing more than their lips touching together for a moment before he pulled away. "I love you," he whispered, looking into the man's eyes.
