Live Every Second

It's breakfast isn't it? So... Breakfast food... Breakfast food... "Belgian waffles." It's was a good thing he liked them since they were the first thing he could think of.

Butcher watched, leaning in to stick a finger in the water to check. It was lukewarm at the hottest and it surprised him. He hadn't thought they'd been upstairs that long.

Butcher backed up so he wouldn't be in Mikey's way and headed towards the table they usually sat at.

Butcher smiled over at the bucket then turned to Mikey, tapping on his own thighs with his thumbs.

Butcher stilled and straightened up in his chair slightly as the food was served. Looks good.

Butcher dropped his fork midway to his mouth and rushed to Mikey's side, "Mikey? What's wrong?" What's happening?

Butcher patted Mikey on the back weakly and sat back down, looking worried still as he retrieved his fork and attempted to eat again.

"Are you going to be okay?" Butcher asked as he cut another piece of his waffle to eat with his fork.

Butcher ate in silence, unsure of what else to say.

Butcher finished fairly quickly and wiped at his mouth with a napkin.

Butcher shrugged since there was nothing he needed to do. "Anywhere."

Butcher thought about it a moment. Maybe going back upstairs would have been akward but where else would they go?
