Mikey stroked his cheek gently. "That can wait." He murmured, rubbing Butcher's back with his other hand.

"It hurts," Butcher whispered. He could feel all the places where he'd been scratched. The insides of his thighs felt a little wet. Maybe he had bled after all but he didn't notice because he hadn't really looked too well. He didn't want to look at himself, or he would take a shower and wipe away the man's fingerprints on his skin. "I can still feel it."

Mikey held him tighter, astute mind beginning to piece together what he was saying. He bit his lip until blood dripped from it.

The money in Butcher's back pocket was burning a hole in his skin, or at least it felt that way to him. He reached back and grabbed the wad, throwing it from him as far as he could. The paper currency just fluttered, one dollar falling back to land on his leg. He brushed it off with a yelp.

Mikey frowned again, looking at the money. He gently kissed the top of Butcher's head, holding him tight still.

Mikey's face drained of colour, but he nodded, letting go of Butcher.

He lifted his shirt halfway up his stomach and started removing his pants with trembling fingers. He stopped suddenly because he didn't want to see. It was all still too real.

Mikey caught Butcher's hand gently and raised it to his lips. "It's ok." he whispered.

"I trust you," Butcher decided to focus on Mikey. He stared into the other Avain's eyes as he removed his pants the rest of the way, hooking his thumbs in his underwear to pull them down too.

Then he squeezed his eyes shut. "Is it bad? I didn't let him go for too long. He didn't climax."

Mikey looked down quickly, his face blank. "There's a little blood." He murmured, gently redressing Butcher. "Why did you let him do it?" He pulled Butcher into his arms again, holding him tight.

"I passed out and he found me. I didn't think he'd be ready. I was just going to get him close enough to drink his blood but he had other plans. He offered me that money for sex" Butcher sniffed loudly. "I didn't have time to think of a way out so I just let him. He was going to anyway."

"You fed off him." Mikey whispered. "That's good. Otherwise I'd have to hunt him down." He realised that he was in no state to do that, still recovering from the last time he had exacted revenge, but didn't voice his thoughts.

"You'd do that for me?" Butcher smiled but the grin faded. "I beat him after he was dead. Was it wrong?"

Mikey raised an eyebrow. "Did you not see the scum I went after?" He asked.

"But I let him. I took his money. I shouldn't have." Butcher said weakly, not really sure what he was talking about anymore. "I didn't scream. He told me to, but I only do what you say." He yawned and closed his eyes.

Mikey flushed. "Well, I say it's time for bed." He laughed quietly.

"Thank you," Butcher opened his eyes slowly and moved to untangle himself from Mikey. "I didn't have anyone to talk to last time."
