Double pregnancy means two jars of pickles

William sighed happily, watching as his children slept. "Would you hold him while I try to put the crib together?" he asked, wanting to make sure that all three children stayed comfortable.

"Okay," Mike answered, although he wasn't too fond of watching William make physical effort due to his size. Still, him being very pregnant would stop him from doing a lot of work and chores, leaving them to William despite his good will. He took Joshua in his arms, careful not to wake him.

William smiled before walking out to the hallway and reaching for the crib. As he bent over, he took a small gasp of air, not making a sound. He put a hand to his stomach, taking a series of deep breaths. He was glad that he was out of Mike's view. He moved a few bags around to make it sound like he was looking for things.

Unable to move from the couch, Mike tilted his head back as much as he could to try to see William through the doorframe.

William didn't see Mike moving around. He leaned against the wall, trying to catch his breath. He continued breathing deeply, closing his eyes for a moment.

Mike groaned when he realized he wouldn't be able to stand up and help. "Bill, are you alright?" he asked innocently, conscious the man didn't expect to be seen.

"Y-yeah," William forced a smile and opened his eyes. "I'm just looking around," he said, moving from the wall. He kneeled down, searching through the bags. He kept silent, a hand placed at his stomach.

Mike remained silent as he waited, not wanting to add any pressure although he was sincerely worried.

William put a frail, shaking hand to his forehead as he slouched down a little further, still looking through the bags. He let a small groan escape from his lips as he curled up for a moment.

Mike frowned, unable to get on his feet. "William, you know, it can wait..."

William slowly sat up, his arms shaking. He was finally able to breathe again, much to his relief. He slowly rose to his feet, looking down at his stomach. He had only grown a mere half inch. Carefully, he reached for the crib's box.

Mike sighed with relief. Maybe being pregnant at the same time wasn't such a brilliant idea. He kept watching William, making sure he was fine.

William's legs were trembling slightly as he walked back into the living room, a smile on his lips. He carefully sat down on his knees and opened it, taking out the instructions.

Mike frowned a little at how carefree William seemed. "Are the instructions in English, at least?"

William nodded before taking out the pieces of the crib. He quickly began assembling the pieces together, using only his hands to put them into place. The pieces only needed to be hammered into place, and William was able to do that with only his hands.

"Make sure you don't hurt yourself," Mike told him, still worried. He was still slightly amused by how William was better at manual tasks than he was.

William only smirked, continuing to hammer the pieces into place with his hands. In a matter of minutes, he had assembled the whole crib. He slowly took in a sharp breath as he finished.

"A work of art," Mike told him, smiling. He tried to get up to find the covers and bedsheets, but realized once again his weight and the children on him made it impossible.

William walked out of the room and rummaged through the bags. He picked up the sheets and three pillows that he knew Pete must have purchased for them. He walked over to the cradle and began putting the sheets on it.

Mike felt bad for not being able to help much, but didn't mention it. He promised himself to eat less to lose weight, maybe then William would let him do something.

Wiliam smiled after he had finished. He carefully walked over to Mike and took all three children into his arms. He made sure to be extremely gentle so as not to wake them. He carefully laid each of their heads down on a pillow, making sure that their necks were properly supported before placing a blanket over the three of them. He watched as they all naturally curled together in their sleep. He quietly leaned down to kiss each of their foreheads as he watched them sleep.

Mike was relieved that their children were naturally close to one another. He remembered hearing stories of siblings who hated each other, and wasn't sure he would have been able to deal with it as a new parent.

William kneeled down by the cradle, looking through the wooden bars. He smiled as he watched his children sleep together.

Mike slid off the couch with considerable effort and snuggled close to William.

William looked up at Mike with an innocent smile before looking back at their children. He listened to the small breathing noises they made.
