We can be lovers

Hood lay on his front still struggling to hold his shape but not as much what ever it was had faded a little. he had john sat between his front paws and was giving him a good cleaning just as something to do.

Xcelia flailed and grunted, eyes widening when she saw who was with her old master, "No,no,no,no! Not happening!"

Hood felt the pressence in the flat leave almost completly and snifed for Xcelia realising she had left the flat, his stomach clenched. She was alone with her old master near by.

"Athony- you should be dead!" Xcelia shook her head, frowning at her old master and her childhood friend.

Hood stood and walked across the bed jumping off the end to the floor with a grace given only to animal he turned to se John following and have heim a soft warning growl so the puppy stopped and sat.

Xcelia shook her head, "What's going on?!" She looked at the once kind face of her old friend, only to see Anthony looking down at her with a look of disgust.

Hood continued through the flat till he reached the front door. He didn't have time to shift back and get dressed but hands would have been helpful in opening the door.

Upon recieving no reply, Xcelia moved to stand, only to be struck down by her old master.

Hood stood up on his hind legs fixing his teeth around the handel and using his weight pulled it down before carefully stepping back and remaining up right long enough that when he dropped he could push the door open.

Xcelia groaned, feeling her jaw crack out of place, "Nice." She muttered through a mouthful of blood.

Hood stood and looked miffed at the door before barking so John charged aross the flat in to the door closing it. He gave a very undog like laugh and turne heading down stairs.

Xcelia slowly moved to stand again, surprised at the two men's silence, "What do you want?" She asked, spitting the blood in her mouth onto the floor.

He got outside the flats and sniffed the air. He smelt blood and Xcelia nearby. She must have needed to feed. He didn't want to see so he turned to go back inside.

Anthony sensed another shifter nearby and sent out that strange thing that was making Hood need to shift.
Xcelia sighed, "What's going on?"

Hood collasped outside the door panting for breath as the force returned desperatly try to resist and get back inside before he shifted.

"I thought you'd like to see Anthony again." Xcelia's old master eventually answered.
"Well you're wrong." Xcelia hissed, walking past them onto the street. She spotted Hood and darted over to him, "Hood?"

Hood shifted back to human. "God it hurts." he panted looking up at her eyes wide with pain.

Xcelia sighed, "I told you to stay upstairs." She whispered, pulling him to his feet.
Anthony placed his hand on Xcelia's shoulder, "Who's he?"

Hood hugged her as soon as he was standing. "I was worried about you." He looked at Anthony. "I'm Hood, her boyfriend."

Anthony raised his eyebrows, "I thought ladies such as yourself were supposed to dedicate themselves to one man in a lifetime, Xcelia, it looks like you've reached your third."
Xcelia blushed furiously, glaring at Anthony silently.

Hood moved to stand behind her suddenly very aware of his lack of clothes. He leaned forward to whisper in her ear. "He's the one who was makeing me shift. Who is he?"

"His name's Anthony." Xcelia muttered, "I was friends with him when I was younger."
"More than friends." Anthony grinned.

Hood looked at Anthony for a moment then back to Xcelia. He reached around her offering his hand to Anthony. "Nice to meet you I guess."

Anthony raised an eyebrow at Hood and shook his hand quickly.
Xcelia rolled her eyes, "C'mon Hood, lets go inside." She didn't want Hood to talk to Anthony or her old master about anything.

"Sounds good to me." He had a creeping feeling that meant he wanted to be away from both of the men and check on John.
