We can be lovers

Xcelia shook her head, "I'm only half." She stepped into the kitchen then squeaked as she tripped over a mat and crashed to the floor.

Hood convulsed muscles spasming. He only just remained upright and human. "I would just shift but I don't think it will help."

"Why wouldn't it help?" Xcelia asked, sliding to a standing position.

Hood breathde for a second fighting for control. "Because it is not my dog it wants. It just wants me to shift, If I give in it will just push me back the over way."

"Right." Xcelia muttered, stalking around the flat.

Hood dropped to his knees with the next convulsion, he huddled with a wimpering John. "What...the...fuck...could...do...this?" He said between convulsions.

Xcelia paused, blinking in shock, "I..."

Hood fell to one side dropping John, he started to shift. He bones shortened and lengthened and fur began to grow from his skin. He let out a howl of pain.

Xcelia dropped down and picked John up, moving him out of harms way.

Hoods jeans gave off a ripping sound as he gave in and allowed the shift to happen. Suddenly he was a dog lieing on his back panting for air.

Xcelia frowned, "Hood happy now?" She could still tense something in the flat.

Hood let out a loud wimper and rolled on to his side closing his eyes. He got a flash of what was causing it before he began to shift back.

Xcelia frowned uneasly, "What's causing this?"

Hood finished panting and looked up at her breathing heavily and painfully he managed a few words. "Old master."

Xcelia swore, "Damnit all." She plonked John down before picking Hood up and carrying him towards the bedroom.

Hood was only just holding on to his awarness as he writhed struggling to stay human. "How?"

"Not sure, but I don't think its him as such. He never really had much shifter control, that's why he wanted me." Xcelia paused, placing Hood on the bed, "But there was..."

Hoods back arched with pain and a tail was visible underneath him, he was only just staying human but to maintain it small parts of him were shifting at random.

"Could it be?...." Xcelia was oblivious to Hood now.
John raced into the room and lept onto the bed beside Hood.

Hood forced a smile for the puppy reaching up to pat his head before jerking back as his arm half shifted.

Xcelia kissed Hood's forehead, "Be safe." She muttered, running from the room.

Hood watched her go beforehis eyes weld up with tears and he sobbed the pain and frustration in to he duvet.

Xcelia stormed down the stairs, not caring she was only wearing an overly baggy shirt.

He looked at John. Right now he was more use as a dog, that way at least he could try to comfort his son. He shifted.

Xcelia stepped out onto the pavement and looked around. Suddenly she was grabbed from behind.
