We can be lovers

Xcelia smirked, "In that case, no sex." She moved away from him and peeled her top off, picking her bag up to find something to wear.

Hood stood and walked over wrapping his arms round her waist, "Fine, I'll try." He kissed her neck.

Xcelia leant back and grazed her fangs along his neck, fighting the urge to sink them into the soft flesh.

Hood nuzzled her neck. "Hmmmmm, I take it that your retracting you previous threat?"

Xcelia jerked away suddenly, the urge to bite him becoming too strong. "I..." She hugged herself, eyes wide.

Hood stood supprised, "Fine, fine I promise I won't shift during sex." He said holding up his hands in defeat and glancing over his shoulder to make sure Jonh was still on the bed.

Xcelia moved backwards, not liking the way she could hear Hood's heartbeat in her head.

"What's wrong?" asked Hood softly conserned by Xcelai's retreat.

"I..." Xcelia hugged herself tighter, "I look at you and all I see is food..."

Hood stood in shock. He opened his mouth to speak but he just didn't know what to say.

Xcelia bit her lip, "It's just the bloodlust." She whispered quickly, "I promise as soon as I feed it'll go away!"

"No," said Hood "it can't work like that." He was definat in the way he'd said it but only just made sense in his head.

Xcelia hugged herself tighter, "I'd never hurt you!"

Hood whent to take a step closer but thought better of it. "You may not want to but you said it yourself, if you don't feed you get bloodlust."

"I can control it." Xcelia stared at the floor, "I wont hurt you!" She was trembling.

Hood looked at her. "Your shaking with the effort of controling it right now and it hasn't been that long. I don't want to have to wait till after you feed all the  time to be able to go near you."

Xcelia shook her head, "I've only got bloodlust because of my injury, my body needs more blood to heal itself."

Hood sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He walked to the window. "It's dark. If you want to go and feed I'll pack up and we can go see about the flat."

Xcelia stared at him sadly, "I'm sorry I can't be human enough for you." She grabbed her top and shoved it on, tears shining in her eyes as she bolted from the room.

Hood let out a sigh and sat down on the bed pullig John over. He gave him a hug.

Xcelia stormed from the B&B, grabbing the nearest human and shoving them into an alley, sinking her fangs into his neck before draining him dry.

Hood picked up all there things and packed them back in to his backpack. He put John in the inside pocket of his jacket and went downstiars to pay for the room.

Xcelia felt herself calm down and stepped back into the B&B. "Hood?" She frowned as she spotted Hood, "Where are you going?"

"I was just paying for the room." said hood as he pulled the cash out of his pocket and handed it over the front desk.

Xcelia smiled and moved to stand next to him, "Sorry for before."
