William curled up into a ball soon after, a nauseous feeling entering his stomach. His legs curled up and his arms wrapped around his prominent stomach, he kept his eyes closed.

Mike's eyes widened at the scene. He stood up. "William?"

William opened his eyes and tried to give Mike a smile before having to close them. The room was beginning to spin. He shivered.

Mike gently put his hand on the boy's forehead. "I keep doing everything wrong," he whispered. For a split second he wondered if William wouldn't have rather liked for all his suffering to end.

William curled up into Mike's touch, trying to tell the guitarist that it wasn't his fault. He started rocking slowly, trying to keep the room from spinning.

Mike's hand lowered at the level of William's neck, his fingers brushing against it. It seemed so easy to simply snap it and end everything, probably like he should have done on the very first day.

William didn't understand what Mike was doing. He just kept close to the man, trying to stay warm.

Lost his his thoughts, Mike closed his fingers around William's neck, applying a little pressure.

William still didn't understand what Mike was doing. Trusting the man, he kept his eyes closed, whimpering slightly at the pressure.

Mike snapped back to reality when he heard the boy whimper. He moved his hand away and quickly stepped back, almost tripping up on the chair behind him. He seemed horrified.

William's eyes widened as Mike backed away. He looked over at the guitarist, wondering what had just happened when everything all fell into place in his mind. He wanted to try and kill me...

Mike avoided William's look, backing away even more. He leaned against the counter where the medical tools were kept and pushed most of them to the floor in his attempt to support himself. "I didn't...I wasn't..."

William's eyes widened again, his body trembling slightly. He carefully sat up, moving away from Mike in the hospital bed. He shook his head in disbelief, taking off the oxygen mask and tearing out the needle again.

A hand clasped over his mouth, Mike turned his back to William, staring at the wall. "I wasn't thinking!" he gasped.

William shook his head in disbelief over and over again. "It's my fault," he whispered before moving to hop over the railing and walking out of the door to the room, past the point of crying again. He broke into a run, leaving out of the main door before anyone could stop him.

Mike swallowed back tears before running after William, slamming the main door so hard the glass cracked. "I screwed up, I screwed up," Mike said over and over to himself. "William!"

William hadn't made it halfway up the road before he broke down. He was too exhausted to keep running; instead he continued walking quickly, not even sure where he was going. The tears blurred his vision. I shouldn't have believed that things could work. Everyone is the same. I deserve it...

Mike caught up with the boy, running into him and accidentally pushing him against the nearest wall. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry I'm sorry..." He sobbed in William's shirt, shaking.

William hit the wall head first, cuasing his already blurred vision to become worse. He yelped, crying harder as he heard Mike crying as well.

Mike sobbed harder against William's bony shoulder. "I swear William, I swear I wasn't going to do it..."

William turned around to face Mike. His eyes were full of tears and he looked like he was going to pass out. He shook his head. "It was my fault," he whispered again.

Mike cried. "No, no! You know I didn't want to, I couldn't possibly do this...believe me..." He sank to his knees, aware that it was a lie. A second later and he would have murdered his own lover.

William shook his head again, trying to step away. "It's my fault. I should have been used to it," he said, sobbing in disbelief.

Mike cried harder. "I love you...!" he managed to say between frantic sobs. "I...told you it wasn't safe to stay...fuck William, I'm so sorry...I-I wasn't thinking..." Again, it was an obvious lie. He didn't know whether William was better off staying or getting away.

William clenched his fist and punched the brick wall, crying harder. "It's fine," he whispered before trying to walk away again. He hadmanaged to make it five feet before he felt a pain in his stomach, causing him to hunch over and empty the contents of his stomach. Being that there was nothing there, he vommited blood.
