Mike put his hand on Tom's shoulder, making sure William was distracted. He lowered his head. "Will you start hating me again when the Oreos' effect wears off, or am I safe?"

Sisky turned around, looking at everything. She was about to go for a hot pink dress but guessed that no one else would appreciate it. Instead she drifted towards the more muted colors.

"I want that one," Sisky made sure she had a saleswoman's attention before she pointed to a deep purple strapless dress that looked like it could almost be black.

Mike raised an eyebrow. "Again?" He sighed. "Welcome to Chicago. No need to worry, I liked being human too. I don't attack...friends." He didn't know if he was using the right word; it sounded hesitant.

Sisky smiled at Matt sweetly and took the dress. "I have to try it on first." She hurried towards the dressing room.

"We used to be at war with Avians," Mike explained. "Now I just try to protect as many people as I can. I'd say I'm against vampires, but that'd be a lie - I'm marrying one tomorrow." He smiled at William.

Sisky quickly stripped in the small changing room after she'd gotten the door closed and slipped on the purple dress, realizing that it needed to be zipped in the back.

Sisky reached around herself to pull it up and looked in the mirrors. Looks good to me... She took it back off and dressed quickly so Matt would be happy.

Tom smiled placidly. "If you don't want to eat me, then yes, I suppose so." His eyes were more blue than grey when they were widened.

Mike nodded with a small smile. "Good. I'm sure you're safe with Mikey too. He hasn't attacked me in a while. His ex did though." He rolled his eyes.
