Shopping in a Glaring World

Demyx frowned. "Sorry Cyzarine."

Cyzarine smiled weakly at the man behind the counter and shifted nervously, glancing back at Demyx every so often.

Demyx came to stand besides her, wrapping his arm around her waist.

Cyzarine smiled gratefully as she finished paying. She took the box and started over to the door.

Demyx followed. "I'm sorry Cyzarine."

Cyzarine stopped walking and looked down. "Demyx, I asked you not to steal again." she said quietly.

Demyx sighed. "I know, I know."

Cyzarine shook her head. "Then why?" she asked, her voice weak.

Demyx sighed. "Old habits are hard to break."

Cyzarine sighed as well. "Couldn't you have just payed? Wasn't the hair gel enough for today?"

Demyx closed his eyes. "I'm sorry Cyzarine! It's just ever since I've been in the orphanage I've been taught to steal by the other kids- it's hard to change after so long of stealing."

Cyzarine looked down again. "I..." she shook her head. "Fine. C'mon. I'm sorry I got mad."

Demyx paused and gently took her arm. "Say what you were going to say Cyzarine, you dont need to hide your opinions from me."

Cyzarine smiled and shook her head. "I have no idea what I was going to say." she admitted.

Demyx smiled. "I can take the jeans back if you'd like"

Cyzarine looked down. "How? You had to have taken the labels off, right?"

Demyx nodded. "I can still take them back."

Cyzarine smiled. "Please." she replied quietly. "I'd just rather you got out of the habit."

Demyx nodded softly. "Alright."

Cyzarine smiled and hugged him as best she could.

Demyx hugged her back gently, Rose getting a little squished between them.

Cyzarine giggled and tickled the little girl gently. "Thanks. Love you."

Demyx smiled. "Love you more."

Cyzarine smiled back and kissed him gently. "Nu-uh."

Demyx nodded. "Yeah."
