Other Side Of The World

Aliceabella walked up to Mandible house and paused, uncertain what to do next. She spotted someone lying on the ground and moved a little closer, eyes widening as she saw it was Ryland.

Ryland stayed still in the place he'd passed out in.

Aliceabella sat down beside Ryland's still body and tried to think of a way to wake him up. She placed a hand on his shoulder and frowned as she realised he was soaked.

Ryland made no response, only shivered slightly.

Aliceabella pulled her gloves out of her pocket and stuffed them on, trying to set her hands on fire.

Ryland's mouth was slightly open in his sleep.

Aliceabella smiled as she felt her hands begining to burn, placing her gloved hands on Ryland to warm him up.

Ryland's face relaxed a little.

Aliceabella winced as she felt her hands beginning to blister, focusing on warming Ryland up. She moved closer to him, her whole body radiating heat.

Ryland smiled slightly as the water dryed up.

Aliceabella bent to whisper in Ryland's ear, "Ryland, can you hear me?" She kept her hands pressed to him, trying to keep him warm.

Ryland frowned slightly.

Aliceabella sighed, "Ryland!" She repeated, a little louder. She moved down to warm his legs up.

Ryland opened his eyes slowly. "Yes?"

Aliceabella breathed a sigh of relief and flung her arms around him, "What happened to you?"

"Little monsters," Ryland chuckled.

Aliceabella frowned, "Sounds interesting..." She pulled her gloves off and shook her hands, the skin burnt.

Ryland groaned and closed his eyes again.

Aliceabella placed her warm hands on his chest, "Can you get back to the Meagan?"

Ryland shook his head, "It'll take awhile."

Aliceabella bit her lip, "You can't stay here..." Her hands slid lower without her realising.

"I can," Ryland said calmly without opening his eyes.

"No." Aliceabella stated firmly, "You can't."

Ryland sat up slowly but suddenly, getting over his moment for sulking. "Victoria..." He stared for a moment.
