Aliceabella smiled sheepishly, tugging one of her sleeves down.

Ryland chuckled, "I like you." He realized that wasn't what she meant. "To the Meagan now or do you have somewhere else you'd like to go?"

Aliceabella stayed silent, starring anywhere except for Victoria.

Ryland chuckled and checked to make sure he didn't have any other hairs on his shirt before linking an arm through Victoria's.

Aliceabella held Vlad a little tighter, still silent but fighting back the urge to set Victoria on fire. Don't, don't, don't.

"I was adding barber to my resume," Ryland smiled. "Avians have too much hair."

Aliceabella turned her head in the direction of the scream then looked back at Ryland and Victoria- even though they were clearly oblivious to her.

Ryland nodded, leading Victoria back to the Meagan and looking over his shoulder at Aliceabella for a moment to make sure she'd follow.

Aliceabella sighed and followed, clinging to Vlad to stop herself from saying some she'd regret.

"Did Vlad eat all of the chocolate?" Ryland asked suddenly out of nowhere as he walked.

"Is that what was in that bag he had?" Aliceabella looked at Ryland and smiled.

"Yes," Ryland attention wandered again as he glanced back at Mandible House before they were out of sight.

"In that case yes, he ate it all." Aliceabella frowned, "How much was in there?"

Aliceabella looked down at Victoria's shoes, "Are those boy's shoes?" She wasn't being rude, she just thought it was only boys who wore shoes like that.
