Mike bit his lip when he realized he might have gone too far. "Dude, I was just joking. It's for a good cause - babies. William too is very..." He stopped mid-sentence. "Where's Bill?"

William rolled his eyes at Mike as he continued walking with Michael. He smiled slightly at the man. "Thank you," he said quietly, leaning and resting his head on the guitarist's shoulder.

Matt shrugged. I was more preoccupied that everyone was screaming and crying.

"He stayed outside with loser dude." Tom reached out a hand and tousled Mikey's soft hair. "God, I hate the glamour." He commented. "You look good even when you were dead about ten minutes ago."

"You should drink something hot when we get there," Michael gave William's hand a friendly squeeze, trying to take good care of his friend.

Butcher bit his lip when Tom touched Mikey's sensitive spot and reached out to smooth his lover's hair back down carefully.

Mikey continued staring at the floor, back rigid. He hated being made a fool of.

Mike skipped the apologies and stood up, grimacing at the state his pants were in. He ran down the stairs and almost tripped, so he opted for walking out of the building. He stopped when he saw William and Michael, holding hands and leaving.

William could hear Mike nearly tripping down the stairs. He turned around and caught sight of the man. He held still, waiting for him to catch up.

"Uh bye?" Butcher called after Mike. He wrapped his arms around his lover protectively.

Michael rubbed William's hands to warm them up again as they waited for Mike. He didn't think it would be good for the babies if William got sick. He was pretty sure it was possible for it to happen to vampires.

Mike couldn't tell whether William had stopped in a defiant manner or to actually wait for him. After a short hesiation, he walked in the two men's direction, guessing he'd find out as he'd get closer.

William just held still, not really minding that he was cold. He couldn't care less. He just waited.

Mike accelerated his pace until he was a few feet away from his boyrfriend. "He's alright," he told him, although he was certain it wasn't necessary.

William nodded with a very small smile. He looked up at the sky, watching the snowflakes dance around gracefully.

Mike took the opportunity to take William's hands in his own. "You're freezing," he remarked. He spread his wings, going hrough his already torn shirt, and positioned himself so it'd help keep William warm. "I'm sorry it had to be today," he whispered.

William shrugged with a faint smile. "It's fine," he whispered back before turning to walk again. He put his hands in his pockets, hiding his disappointment and the fact that he was freezing.

The feathers on Mike's wing brushed William's cheek. "I'm just as disapointed as you are," Mike insisted, "but we couldn't control it. It's going to happen, just not right now." He knew 'right now' was an extended period of time.

William shook his head, still smiling to hide his emotions. "Just forget about it," he said, continuing to walk.

Michael paused a moment but decided to keep following. His rental car was at Mike's house anyways if they didn't want him there.
