William bit his lip and looked towards the ground. "Sorry, I thought I had my phone with me," he murmured.

Mike smiled and kissed the boy's cheek. "It's all good. No one can disturb us. Just you and me," he whispered in his ear, then grinned.

William chuckled quietly, leaning back onto Mike. He turned his head to gently kiss the man's colar bone.

Mike blushed slightly, not wanting to be too cuddly in front of Butcher. He took William's hand for a few seconds before letting go. "I'll get the phone." He counted again. "Seven of us."

Somewhat disappointed, William hid it with a smile, nodding at Mike before walking over to the staircase and sitting on the bottom stair.

Mike went to get the phone and came back with it to sit on the stairs next to his boyfriend. He dialed the number he had previously scribbled on a piece of paper. "I'd like to have a minivan - or anything big you have - to 14 Dresden Avenue. Well duh, in Chicago." He looked up, thinking. "Verschelden Street. Yes, around there. In how l..." He paused, listening. "Okay, good. Thank you." He hung up.

Butcher cleared his throat nervously.

William looked at Mike, a look of confusion in his eyes.

Mike put the phone down on a step. "We'll get a driver in the next fifteen to twenty minutes at the most. The lady didn't know where Dresden Avenue was," he explained.

Butcher fidgetted, getting a little bored. He strayed from Mike and William to peek into different rooms.

William nodded, leaning back against the stairs with a smile. He couldn't see anything over his stomach anymore.

Mike poked William's navel. "So we've got your dress and my suit. Butcher has Sisky's dress...do we have anything for Matt?"

William's eyes widened as he shook his head. "I don't think he wanted to dress up though," he murmured, thinking that Mike wouldn't accept the idea.

Mike shrugged. "Doesn't matter. He's a fine-looking guy, like his mom. You can be proud to introduce him to everyone."

William smiled up at Mike. "I'm excited," he grinned. He winced slightly as one of the babies kicked the egg again. "Don't," he murmured, looking down at his stomach. He tried to look stern as if he were practicing for later.

"Don't what?" Butcher asked from a little distance away, catching only those two words out of William and Mike's whole conversation.

Mike noticed it was the egg being kicked. He bit his lip and looked at William. "What if they hate it because it's Avian? What if they hate me?"

William smiled reassuringly at Mike. "They're your children," he said softly. "They're going to fight like normal children. But they won't hate you. They'll all three have both Avian blood and vampire blood, but it just happens that the most dominant concerns how they're born, nothing else."

Butcher accidently knocked a lamp with his wing and reached out to grab it before William and Mike noticed.

Mike squeezed William's hand as a way of answering. He tilted his head to look at Butcher. "Saw that!"

William slowly sat up to catch Butcher, unable to see over or around his stomach. He chuckled at the man.

Butcher stuck his tongue out at Mike. "You did not. I'm graceful."

Mike snorted. "Well that must be new. Try not to hurt anyone when you dance at the wedding."

William started laughing at Butcher's comment and the fact that Mike had snorted. He leaned against the wall as he laughed.

Butcher pulled his wings in to avoid any further accidents. "I'm thirsty...." he mumbled then looked at William with concern.
