Slipping away..

Aliceabella sat down next to the stream in the park and sighed. She was lonely- but terrified at the same time. She knew that when Damian found her she was dead.
Burrying her head in her lap she began to cry.

Once she had finished crying Aliceabella tried to get her head straight, only to start crying again.

Aliceabella wiped her tears away gently, grimacing when she saw all her mascara and eyeliner had run down her face.

Aliceabella tucked her knees to her chest a little tighter and rested her head on her legs. "I don't feel well..." She mumbled to no-one in particular as her stomach lurched violently, her head spinning.

Taking small deep breaths, Aliceabella took some water from the stream and splashed it on her face. Feeling a little better she curled up in a small ball and let her head loll against the tree behind her.

Damian entered the park, spotting Aliceabella immediatly. He smirked and held the baby more securely before walking over to her and kicking her in the side of the head.

Aliceabella cried out in pain as Damian kicked her, tumbling to the side and holding her head. "Leave me alone!" She sobbed.

Damian bent down beside her and grabbed a fistfull of her hair in one hand, yanking her forwards so her head was submerged in the stream.

Aliceabella screamed, only to choke on water as she was submerged. She found she was too weak to fight him off, but tried anyway.

Damian smirked and held the baby a little more securly in the arm that wasnt holding Aliceabella down. He pressed his knee into her back hard enough for one of her shoulder blades to dislocate.

Aliceabella screamed again, feeling her vision begin to dim as she slipped into unconciousness.

Wren paused upon hearing the muffled scream. It was the one sound she could recognise no matter what was muffling it.
Sighing, she entered the park, her gaze brushing over small children and their mothers, three pairs of lovers doing heaven knows what, and some people walking dogs. Her face still blank, her eyes finally fell on Damian and a woman she could only presume to be the woman he'd been searching for.
She started closer, curious but wary. "Sir...?"

Aliceabella went weak as she fell unconcious, the last thought hitting her that she was probably going to die.

Damain looked up at Wren and thrust the baby into her arms. "Hold him." He instructed before moving back to Aliceabella and continuing to hold her beneath the water.

Aliceabella lay weak in Damian's arms as she came round, her head spinning.

Damian chuckled as Aliceabella awoke, taking her chin in his hands and smiling down at her. "Hello love." Suddenly he jerked her chin to one side, breaking her jaw.

Aliceabella screamed again, blood welling up in mouth as the bone pierced the side of her mouth. She sat up, vomiting blood and bile.

Ryland had decided to take a shortcut through the park to his destination and paused when he saw Damian. He raised an eyebrow at running into the man and his mate again.

Damian chuckled at Aliceabella's reaction and thrust her forwards into the stream again, holding her head under.

Aliceabella didn't scream this time, there was no point. No one was going to save her.

Ryland frowned when he realized his chosen path would lead him right to them and kept walking.

Suddenly becoming aware of another vampire presence nearby Damian paused and turned, raising an eyebrow when he saw Ryland. "Can I help you?" He asked calmly, pulling Aliceabella's head out of the steam long enough for her to see Ryland before thrusting it back under the water.

Aliceabella blinked as she saw the outline of someone who looked a bit like Ryland. Before she had a chance to look properly she was thrust back under the water, screaming as her head smacked against the rocks at the bottom of the stream.

"Just on my way somewhere," Ryland stuffed his hands in his pockets as he approached.

Damian nodded calmly and glanced down at Aliceabella before checking Wren still had the baby. "Anywhere in particular?" He asked Ryland, talking like he wasnt drowning someone.
