Mike peeked inside the room his own boyfriend was in. "William?" He bit his lip. Don't freak out.

Butcher had his face tilted towards the hand Mike was holding and tried to figure out why he couldn't see it well. He squeezed the fingers to make sure that he was really holding a hand.

William stood up from behind a chair, Nils still in his arms. When he heard the yelling and the fighting, he wanted to go see what was wrong but didn't want to risk hurting the baby, so he decided that hiding with it would be best.

"Nils is there," Mike whispered to Butcher. "Do you remember Nils...?" He walked inside. He addressed William. "Both Mikey and Butcher are injured. Badly. I did what I could."

"Nils?" Butcher straightened and held out his arms. "Give Nils."

William's eyes widened. He handed Nils over to Butcher carefully, keeping an arm under Butcher's to make sure that the child wasn't dropped. "What happened?!" he asked, still staring wide eyed at Mike.

Mike almost had a heart attack. "Don't!" He took the baby from Butcher's arms and stepped out of reach. "I can explain. Just...be careful with Butcher."

Butcher let his arms go limp and he sat down on the floor. Without any warning at all he started sobbing into his hands.

William fell to his knees quickly, wrapping his arms around Butcher in an attempt to soothe the drummer. His eyes were still wide with shock. "What....what the fuck happened?" he tried again.

"We were attacked. She attempted to kill Mikey. She stabbed him but didn't get the pin feathers. Mikey's unconscious." He held to baby close to him. "She controlled Butcher. He fucked his brain trying to get rid of her." And I kissed her and it was disgusting.

William nodded, running his hand up and down Butcher's back. He bit his lip. "Who the fuck was she?" he asked, beginning to feel angry but hiding it.

Butcher wrapped his arms around William. "Where's Mikey?"

William continued rubbing Butcher's back. "He's upstairs," he whispered softly into Butcher's ear. He looked up at Mike. "Then we can't just leave them all alone."

William nodded, gesturing that he understood what Butcher was saying. He sighed, biting his lip. "What are we going to do?" he asked, looking up at Mike, his expression sorrowful.

"We'll have to wait until Mikey wakes up," he said, and added, "if - when he does." He looked at Butcher. "What will he say...?"

William had to stop himself from screaming in anger. That bitch will pay for this... He hugged Butcher tighter. He bit his lip, shaking his head slowly. "We can't leave them alone, no matter when Mikey wakes up. Who's to say she won't come back?"
