Cyzarine smiled wider in relief, shot a glance to Butcher, and went to help William with Mike. She'd suffer Mikey's wrath later (or not, preferably) - right now the man needed help.
Andrew, please help. she murmured mentally, her throat dry and voice suddenly unable to function.

I'm not hearing this, Butcher thought to himself in disbelief before standing. He reached out to take Mike from William since the man was far too thin to be carrying anyone. "I can't do anything for you," He realized. "Is there anything else you wanted me for?" He tilted his head so the fact that he'd been crying wouldn't bo so obvious to the pair. He didn't want them to think Mikey was hurting him.

Cyzarine's eyes widened a little at what Butcher said. But you have to help him...can't you ease the pain at all? she pleaded.
The little girl's mind was painfully open to Cyzarine, what with her being so young. Cyzarine flinched as she started holding back memories and thoughts from the girl. Angel? I need you to stop that. she told the girl quickly, trying to keep calm.

"I can't ease pain. I can heal wounds but I can't take pain away. I'm sorry," Butcher closed his eyes a moment and got himself under control. "They're gone aren't they?" Why else would he have a scar on his stomach?

Cyzarine got to her feet shakily and staggered back, trying to get down the stairs without falling.
"Angel...please stop...I-I don't want to see your memories." she whispered, both mentally and verbally. She couldn't take much more, especially after the way she'd retrieved the file from the fire.

Butcher carefully put Mike at the top of the stairs and pulled William closer to heal the scar on his stomach. He closed his eyes, "You didn't do it yourself did you? Nothing's damaged. You can still have babies." As soon as he was done he took his shaking hands away and sat back against the wall where he was before.

Cyzarine's gaze remained on Angel even as she moved to Mikey. Her knees shook before giving out from under her, submitting her to the floor. She landed with a bump, more pained by the unwanted visions than the 'fall'. "Angel please!" she sobbed, as a flurry of memories slipped past her barrier, blurring her vision.

Butcher hugged his knees, pressing his face against them. He wrapped his wings around himself. "You don't even want to know. William's body probably rejected Ryland's devil spawn anyways. I think your children would have a better chance and maybe not move so much. Hopefully..." Don't think about what happened.

Cyzarine's mental barriers fell completely, and the Avian-girl let out a small cry of mingled surprise and pain as the memories bombarded her.
"ANGEL STOP IT!" she shrieked, trying to choke back sobs. "Please..." she cried. "Please make it stop..."
