I really wish you were my shadow

Butcher stood suddenly, realizing that he hadn't cleaned himself since the incident in the alley. I can't touch him like this. He ran up the stairs towards the room they shared without a word.

Cyzarine smiled and nodded. Promise. She paused, wondering if she should continue. How's William taking the loss? How are you taking it?

Cyzarine nodded. "Of course." she murmured, standing up as well. "Do you want a hand?" She looked to Mike and added mentally If you ever need to talk again, I'm here. Aim a thought at me: William knows that too. Please tell him later, he's tired now as you said.

When Cyzarine recieved no answer or further acknowledgement, she lowered her eyes. Clearly she was no longer wanted. She fleetingly wondered if she should go back to Demyx, before deciding to take a walk. He should be okay, still, and she could still reach him after all.
Not wanting to remain feeling so left out amongst Mike and William - the happy couple who had suffered a tragedy together - and Mikey - the man who had a family and another man willing to help him - she ran up the stairs.
She'd finally found someone, and yet as soon as she felt safe and had really let them in something had gone wrong. For all his 'hard life' Demyx must have thought her to be such a nuiscence. All she was good for was freaking people out and causing trouble.
Ah well. Such was her life, after all.

"Wait!" Butcher appeared, tearing around the corner. He almost ran right into Mike. "Uh sorry. William can I have a word with you?"

"Follow me," Butcher smiled and adjusted the towel around his waist. "I would have put something on but I wanted to catch you before you left." Sure he wasn't exposed to the world, he continued down the hallway. "You can come if you want, Mike, or you could stay here. Your choice."
