Time Lapse

Butcher breathed a sigh of relief as the larger objects stilled. and the smaller ones didn't all fly into the air.

Chase snuggled into Mikey and the spoon slid off completely.

Butcher turned and wrapped his arms around Mikey's waist from behind, putting his head on his lover's shoulder.

Reve giggled and hit Nils with the wooden spoon and turned to hit Zeke.

"Uh oh," Butcher looked up from Mikey's face and his smile faltered.

Reve blinked in confusion as Chester snarled at her and decided to hit him with the spoon too.

"Not again," Butcher covered his eyes with his hands. "Revey, you're nothing but trouble, little girl."

"Reve decided she liked Matt and Caitlyn got jealous and attacked and Josie came to defend Reve and then it was war." Butcher moved to pick Reve up before she could do any real damage with the spoon. She smacked him in the nose with it.

"Ow, no hitting, Reve," Butcher wrestled the spoon away from her.

"BAD!" Reve cackled and bit into his arm.

"Hey, stop that," Butcher warned when he felt Reve trying to feed from him.

She looked up and smiled sweetly.

Reve ignored Mikey's chest and bit into the tattoo on his arm when she found it instead.

"Hello Chase," Butcher smiled at the youngest one. Chase blinked back and smiled gummily.

Butcher chuckled and held Chase close as he moved to check on the others. "How are you, wonder twins?" he asked a very grumpy looking Chester.

"Please don't be angry at Papa," Butcher pleaded.

"Ba," Chester agreed and turned with Zeke.

"There's no way they're hatchlings," Butcher watched them before moving on. "And how is Josie today?"

"That's three for the anti-Papa club," Butcher mumbled to Chase, who just gurgled.

Butcher looked surprised for a few seconds then beamed brightly.
