Demyx reached Cyzarine and Garland, grabbing her hand. "It'll be ok Cyzarine!" Just as he said that, Garland punched him in the stomach. He stumbled a little and sank to his knees.

Cyzarine frowned, having felt Demyx's hand but not seen him. She heard him fall and began to worry. "Demyx?! Are you okay?!" she called frantically, trying to get free of Garland's grip again. "What's going on?!"

Demyx pushed himself up and tried to free Cyzarine from Garland's grip. "It's ok Cyzie." He muttered under his breath

Cyzarine's frown deepened, before she closed her eyes and relaxed a little. When they snapped open, there was nothing she couldn't see. Grabbing Demyx's hand through the fog - which now made her vision a shade darker than usual - she kicked out at Garland, glaring at him as best she could.

Demyx kicked Garland in the gut and grabbed Cyzarine and ran off into the fog.

Cyzarine frowned and quickly took control; pulling him to one side quickly to avoid the henchman as he made a dive at the pair. Eyes wide, she moved a little closer to Demyx as he glared at them and aimed a punch at Demyx.

Demyx caught the fist in his hand and broke it, using strength he didn't even know he had. He continued to run with Cyzarine.

Cyzarine barely had time to ponder what the crack she had heard had been, before she was running again. She frowned and snapped open her wings again, almost in a dream-like state. "Hold on, Demyx." she murmured, wrapping her arms round him from behind and flying as slowly as she could so he could get used to it.

Demyx nodded a little and hung on tight to Cyzarine.

Cyzarine's eyes hardened determinedly, as her wings flapped defiantly until she was zooming through the corridors with practised ease. She had no time to think of where to go, and simply chose to move away from the darkened corridor as quickly as she could.

"Go to the bedroom." Demyx offered when he realised Cyzarine didn't know where she was going.

Cyzarine nodded and swerved sharply down another corridor, moving a little faster if possible. She was not going to be followed just when she thought she was safe again.

Demyx tightened his grip on Cyzarine, wincing as pain shot through his fist. He'd probably damaged it at some point, but decided not to care.

Cyzarine glanced down at Demyx as she felt him wince, but had to turn her gaze back onto the corridor they were flying down. She smiled and slowed enough to stop as they reached the bedroom. She landed carefully and hugged Demyx tightly.

"Are you alright?" Demyx asked, hugging her tighter than tight.

Cyzarine nodded. "How did he get in?" she whispered, even though she knew Demyx would have no answer for her.

Demyx pulled back a little and shook his hand. Sure enough his knuckles were broken with bits of bone sticking out. "I dont know how he got in but...Where's there a will there's a way."

Cyzarine spotted his hand and paled, looking away quickly. "Isn't that painful?" she asked him, eyes wide and shining in concern.

Demyx shrugged. "A little. My hand goes numb after a while."

Cyzarine frowned. "I don't know if Andrew will be able to fix that easily." she murmured. She shook her head and sighed. "I don't get it, though: who was screaming, why couldn't I hear them and why was my eyesight going funny?" she wondered.

Demyx paused. "The person screaming was female." Suddenly his eyes widened. "Garland tricked me!"
Suddenly Garland himself walked around the corner to glare at them.

Cyzarine spotted Garland first, hiding behind Demyx fearfully. The henchman was nowhere in sight for the moment, but she was still afraid of him.
"I think he's done more than that." she murmured, trying to piece everything together in her mind. What are you doing? she asked Garland, trying to keep her thoughts firm.

Demyx stepped in front of Cyzarine protectivly. "Leave her alone Garland. I mean it."
The man chuckled. "Are you going to make me boy?"

Cyzarine's eyes were locked on Garland, and didn't see the henchman sneak up behind her. He grabbed her, covering her mouth when she cried out.

Demyx spun around. "Let her go!" He snapped. Suddenly a scream exploded in his head and he sank to his knees. He suddenly knew who was screaming. In fact, no one was screaming at all. It was a memory of when Saz had died, her scream echoing in his mind. "Let Cyzie to go." He managed to mutter.
