Chase stuck his thumb in his mouth as he stared at his papa. "Hi," Butcher pulled a face for him.

Reve fed much more like Nils and less like her more ladylike sister Adelaide, grinning up at Mikey.

Mikey raised his eyebrows. "There goes my theory of girls being neater than boys."

"COOOTEEEZE!" Nils threw back his head and wailed. First Tamsin took away his Papa, then Daddy took away his Burdee, then Reve took away his Daddy! This wasn't fair!

"Maybe Reve doesn't count," Butcher picked Nils up to hold with Chase.

Butcher pretended not to see as he cuddled Chase and Nils. "I think Chester and Zeke are asleep."

Just to prove Butcher wrong, Zeke grumbled and waggled his hand, spraying his papa with water. Mikey chuckled, stroking Josie's back gently.

Chase started to wail when some of the water dripped onto him and Butcher blinked. "Hey..." Chester gave a small chuckle and snuggled into his brother.

Mikey shrugged. "Your fault, you have to deal with the consequences." Josie gave another low chuckle. "What is she doing?"

"No idea," Butcher dried Chase off, putting him down with Nils when he realized he was just going to drip on the boy again.

Mikey looked down at Reve. "You finished?" Josie looked up, covering her eyes. She chuckled again.

Zeke, who was facing Butcher, poked Chester until he looked around. He stared at Butcher blankly. Mikey touched the small of his back. "Be nice to Papa."

Butcher shivered slightly at how mature some of their newborns acted as Chester listened to Mikey mutely before looking back at Zeke.

Chester frowned slightly at their damp papa and set Butcher's hair on fire somewhat unsucessfully. "Eeek!" Butcher patted his head.
