Chase started to wail. "What's wrong? You're okay, Chase," Butcher puzzled over it.

Butcher watched Mikey, sipping on the blood in the bottle again. Chase sniffled and stared at Nils.

"You want your big brother?" Mikey lifted up Nils onto his lap. Nils reached for Chase with a giggle.

Chase looked at Nils and squeaked. Butcher grinned proudly at the babies on the bed.

"Raar!" Nils giggled at his daddy. Mikey slowly moved all the children onto the bed and climbed on himself.

"She's a monster." Mikey wrestled Chase off Nils gently, wincing at the screaming his son started.

"Aww-ow," Butcher looked down to see Reve trying to feed from him. She frowned and smacked him in the side.
