We can be lovers

Xcelia smiled and nodded, "Good to know."

Hood looked at her and smiled back softly reaching in to his pocket to stroke the puppy.

"Baby woof." Xcelia muttered, putting her top hat on which, it seemed, she pulled from no where.

Hood laughed "I will never figure out how you do that." He said shaking yhis head.

Xcelia waved her hands magically, "A magician must never reveal their tricks."

"Oh but we have ways of making you talk!" He said suddenly pulling hre very close and looking her straight in the eyes.

Xcelia smirked, "You do realise I could take you with my eyes"

Hood didn't look away. "I'm not scared of your eyes. You can have me with out using them at all."

Xcelia shook her head, "That's not what I meant. I mean I could...be-spell you with my eyes."

"So, what does that change?" He continued to look her in the eyes. "I love you, I can't avoid your eyes, and I trust you."

Xcelia blinked in surprise, "No ones ever...."

"If you want to bespell me feel free." He said quietly "I trust you won't hurt me." He reached up stroked her cheek with the back of his finger tips.

Xcelia shook her head, "I won't, it's just no ones ever trusted me that much before."

"I've never trusted a person this much before, but how could I love you if I didn't trust you?" He asked hand dropping back to his side.

Xcelia paused, "You have a point." She took his hand, "I trust you, I'm just not used to people trusting me."

Hood stepped forward and nuzzled her neck. "Then they are all missing out."

"A ruthless killer trapped in the body of an eighteen year old girl for all eternity, what's not to trust?" Xcelia snuggled into him, being carefull not to squish John.

"A half wolf husky with the ability to rip out your jugular. Whats not to trust?" He grinned kissing her neck softly.

Xcelia laughed quietly, burrying her head in the crook of his neck.

Hood sniffed the back of her neck savouring the smell. He nipped the skin closing his eyes and licking her skin.

Xcelia squeaked slightly in surprise, her thick black hair falling in front of her pale face.

Hood stooped and moved his head away. "Sorry. Too doggy?"

Xcelia shrugged, "Just not expecting it was all." She ran a finger across her belt and the hilt of her sword.

"Fine. I'll warn you next time." He kissed her cheek. "We better move before John freezes."

Xcelia nodded, "Good point." She took Hood's hand and started walking.
