Do You Wanna Leave or Something?

"Nap time, Tamsin," Butcher laid on his back so the baby could rest on his chest and closed his eyes.

Butcher's eyes shot back open when Josie freed herself and started wailing.

Butcher cuddled Tamsin and rubbed her back, "Shhh it's naptime for you and Papa."

"Nils," Butcher said tiredly, still trying to calm Tamsin down. "Are they all going to start hatching now?"

Butcher reached out and pulled Nils closer to him. "She's an angry baby."

"Should we go to the bedroom," Butcher sat up a little and kissed Nils on top of his head, still cuddling Tamsin to his chest.

Butcher blinked as he watched, "Nils I think you just got competition in the little monster department." He groaned as he stood.

Butcher slowly crossed the room with Tamsin and Nils in his arms, pausing to look back. "Any more of them?"

Butcher nodded, "I love you." He moved to the bedroom as quickly as possible so he wouldn't tire out halfway to the bed.

Butcher settled down on the bed with a sigh, Nils on one side and Tamsin on his chest closer to the other. "Please try to get along. Sleepy time now."

"Josie's going to be a handful," Butcher told Nils in a weary voice. "But Tamsin here is very nice. You should be nice to her."

Butcher smiled, watching the two of them. "Are you teaching, Nilsy?"
