Lonely

When the tingling sensation went away Aliceabella slowly wrapped her arms around him again, arching her hips slightly.

Ryland was getting a little bored with the silence so he accelerated his pace gradually.

Aliceabella moaned softly, completly oblivious to the flames flickering beneath her finger nails.

Ryland swore under his breath, "What are you doing?"

Aliceabella frowned. "Nothing."

"Your hands," Ryland hissed. "They're burning."

Aliceabella jerked her hands away from him. "I'm sorry!" She cried.

Ryland chuckled as he spilled into Aliceabella, not very much in the mood anymore. "What were you doing?" He pulled away.

Aliceabella let her head loll against the pillow, biting her lip. Shaking her head wordlessly she showed him the flames beneath her nails.

Ryland moved away to dress quickly before taking her hand by the wrist. "Could you learn to control this?"

Aliceabella blinked in shock. "I don't even know what it is...I could try to though."

Ryland turned her hand slowly. "Hmmm." She was more useful than he thought she was originally.

Aliceabella frowned, a memory coming back to her. "I read something that sounded like this." She flexed her fingers. "Pyrokinetic- the ability to ignite fire using only the mind, or something like that anway."

"I want you to try using it," Ryland released her wrist.

Aliceabella looked down at her nails which were slowly calming back to their normal colour. "But I don't know how. It only happens if I'm feeling really angry, really sad or really...Aroused." She blushed, staring down at her nails.

Ryland chuckled and tucked the naked girl under his covers. "You can try later then. First," he looked at her torn dress with distaste. "I will arrange for some new things to be bought for you."

Aliceabella shook her head. "You don't need to go to any trouble."

"I can't let you be seen with me wearing this." Ryland held up the torn dress. "And that skill of yours may prove to be useful.

Aliceabella shook her head quickly. "It's not a skill." She whispered. "I'm surprised you don't think I'm some sort of freak for it..."

"Skill, curse, gift... whatever you call it it could be useful. We're at war," Ryland raised an eyebrow.

Aliceabella frowned, she'd never thought of what she was able to do than anything more than a curse. "If you think it'll help." She shrugged, suddenly realising what he'd said. "Me be seen with you?" She looked up at him.

"Unless you want me to lock you up again," Ryland smirked. "You'll have your own room here and will be expected to abide by the rules of the clan."

Aliceabella shook her head quickly at the mention of being locked up again. "The rule abiding sounds good." She curled up under the covers slightly. "What are the rules anyway?"

"Someone will fill you in on the details but basically you must do things to help the clan," Ryland moved to the door.

Aliceabella frowned and went to follow before remembering the fact she was naked and lying back down. "Where are you going?"
