Lonely girls

Rose's crying awoke Cyzarine. Groaning quietly she got from her bed and went to the cot, picking up the little girl and rocking her gently. "Shhh..." she soothed absently, wondering fleetingly where Demyx had gone.
She sat on the bed to let Rose feed and smiled down at the little girl. Humming quietly, she pondered the idea of going to feed herself. Shaking her head, she decided it was best to wait.

Demyx walked into Mandible house with a tired sigh, his shoulders were shaking from the cold. Keeping a firm grip on his guitar with one hand he shoved his other hand into his pocket.

Cyzarine laid Rose back down in the cot and went to fetch her tarot deck. She began flipping through it, thinking of the meaning of each card thoughtfully.

Demyx pushed open the door to the bedroom and placed his guitar on the ground, collapsing onto the soft bed. "Urgh," he grumbled into the pillow.

Cyzarine watched him silently, a small smile playing on her lips. "You okay?"

Demyx rubbed his head. "I had a breakdown, then this random girl started talking to me and I think she was flirting so I came home." He gasped after saying the entire sentance in one breath.

Cyzarine giggled. "Can't blame her." she teased.

Demyx pulled a face. "I'm a crazy mass murderer, what's not to like?" He smiled and began blowing on his hands for warmth.

Cyzarine frowned. "Stop it. I love you and so does Rosie. Stop putting yourself down." She moved to sit beside him on the bed and took his hands in her's to help warm them.

Demyx smiled and kissed her cheek. "I love you." He reminded her.

Cyzarine smiled back and nuzzled her head in his neck gently. "I love you too."

Demyx looked over at Rose. "How is she?" He asked, smiling fondly.

"Rosie? She's fine. She just fed, so she should stay asleep for a bit." Rose shifted and grumbled incoherently as she awoke again. "Or I could be wrong again."

Demyx smiled and scooped Rose up. "Hello." He cooed, causing Rose to giggle and slap her fist against his nose.

Cyzarine watched with a small grin, keeping quiet.

Demyx smiled sheepishly. "She loves me really."

Cyzarine giggled quietly. "Of course!" she teased.

Demyx winced as Rose slapped him again. "No." He told her firmly, simply causing the little avian to make a sound that sounded like a giggle.

Cyzarine peered at Rose over Demyx's shoulder and smiled. "Nu-uh Rosie, don't want to hurt Daddy!"

Rose giggled and waved her little arms in the air. Demyx smiled fondly.

Cyzarine's smile grew. "Clap." she clapped lightly for the little girl. "Rosie can you clap?"

Rose pouted and tried clapping, only for her hands to narrowly miss and hit air.

Cyzarine smiled encouragingly. "Try again." she cooed, guiding Rose's hands together gently.

Rose giggled and began slapping her hands together.

Cyzarine smiled. "Clever Rose!"
