Wedding Shopping, take 2

The man let out a low cackling noise, tossing he knife off to the side. He smirked when it hit William again. William held back tears as they widened in fear. He bit his lip as he watched the two men struggle. He could see the blood flowing around him.

Mike punched the man's jaw as hard as he could before moving away and getting back on his feet. He wrapped his arms around William and forced him to moved further away from the man. "It's okay, it's alright." Mike lowered himself on his knees to look at William's stomach, not noticing that his own shirt was already soaked in blood. "Oh fuck," he muttered. "No, no. Fuck!" He took off both his jacket and shirt, placing one on William's shoulders and the other over the open wound. "I don't know what to do," Mike admitted, hands shaking and barely able to hold the shirt.

The man rubbed his jaw, still able to smirk. He staggered to his feet, walking over to the couple. He kicked William's stomach, purposely hitting the knife, digging it in even further before walking off. William's eyes widened again, full of fear. He couldn't cry; it wasn't possible. His head moved back against the brick wall.

"Should have killed him," Mike muttered over and over, studying William's stomach. He couldn't run to get the man, as much as he wanted to. "If I don't take it out it can do permanent damage, but if I do I won't be able to stop to blood," he said, his hand on the handle of the knife. He looked up to see William's expression, and realized it had to be the man's decision; he only placed his hands on his boyfriend's stomach, trying to transfer as much pain as he could. He had to close his eyes shut, head down.

William shook his head, eyes still wide. He moved away from Mike slowly. "Mike, no. J-just take it out," he whispered. It was all he could do not to start screaming. He was in an excruitating amount of pain.

Mike kissed one of the very few spots on William's stomach that wasn't already covered in blood. He couldn't help using his power, one hand around the wound and pulling the knife out with the other. He almost stepped back at the amount of blood flowing down.

William couldn't help but to let out a scream. His eyes widened even further as Mike steadily pulled the blade out. He definately hit something... He slammed his head back against the wall instead of screaming again.

Mike dropped the knife. He didn't want to touch William anywhere but on his stomach with the blood on his hands. "Sit down," he told him. His knees unable to support him longer in the position he was, he fell to the ground. "I...need to look at it."

His eyes still wide, William slid all the way down the wall, his head hitting every brick on the way down. His whole torso was completely covered in blood, and it was quickly beginning to slide down his legs. He let out a single strangled cry as he finally hit the ground.

Mike tried to breathe calmly but found it impossible. "Bill...did he hurt them?" He wasn't sure if he wanted to hear the answer, but there wasn't much he could do.

William nodded, his eyes still wide as they began to fill with tears. He held them back as best as he could. He looked down at his stomach and it was obvious that he had a million tears filling his eyes.

Mike closed his eyes for a second. "I should have been there." He was on the verge of crying when he opened them again. "What can we do?"

William let out a sob, pulling his knees up to his stomach and resting his blood -stained arms on them. He didn't know what to do. Letting out another sob, he brought his hands to his face, smearing blood across his eyes and forehead as he began to cry.

Mike put his shirt back on William's stomach and moved to the boy's side, his other arm around him. He burried his face in his neck. "We need to get help." He didn't have the strenght to move, even less to carry William.

William only cried harder, his tears mixing with blood and running down his arms. He could feel the tightening sensation in his lungs, exactly like before. His breathing started to become noticeably shallow.

Mike moved his head away when he noticed the change. "No William, you can't do that to me," he whispered, eyes wide. He cupped the boy's cheek. "Stop crying. Look at me. Stop crying and breathe."

William forced oxygen into his lungs. He continued crying, the pain becoming overwhelming. He struggled to continue breathing.

Mike put both of his hands under the shirt, slowly transferring the pain until he was feeling it significantly more than William could. "Keep breathing," he muttered, teeth clenched.

William's eyes widened again and he moved away from Mike, leaving a bigger trail of blood. "Don't!" he gasped, the pain returning to him quickly.

Mike grasped William's wrist, holding it a bit too tightly. "You're going to listen to me and let me do what I have to do," he told him, pushing him against the wall. He put his hands back on the boy's stomach. "I'm sorry," he muttered.

William started crying harder, noticing how much blood was still pouring from the cuts on his stomach. I'm going to lose them again... He looked and sounded horrified.

Mike took deep breaths, the pain being worse than he had expected. He moved a hand around on the skin. "The egg hasn't been touched," he told William, feeling the distinct shape under his fingers. "I...think he killed one. I'm not sure. I don't know for the other."

'No!," William screamed and sobbed as he heard Mike speak. He sobbed harder, his tears still mixing with the blood all over his body. He was trembling.

Mike let out a choked sob. "Calm down," he told William, although he doubted the boy would listen. He himself couldn't refrain from panicking. Althought William had been stabbed, his stomach wasn't actually open. Actually checking was out of the question. "We need to see a doctor. I don't know if we can reach the Mandible House..."

Still trembling furiously, William quickly staggered to his feet, using the wall to blanace himself with. He let out another scream, one of his hands, over the cuts to hold the nearly split pieces of skin together. He was almost completely covered from his stomach down in blood.
