Cyzarine frowned as well. She opened her mouth to speak, before deciding better of it and closing it again.

Mikey spun around, glaring at Jade intently. The red iris in his eyes had grown with the stress of the past few days. "You even think that again and you'll be the one being used as bait." He snarled venemously, before controlling himself. "Both me and Blackinton's old mate - William - have a mind link with Blackinton. William knows how to exploit this, I currently don't. I'm the leader here. You don't question me. Is that clear?"

Jade's jaw dropped slightly. She raised an eyebrow. "Yes." Her voice might have sounded insolent to some, but it was all she knew.

Cyzarine glanced to Jade, wondering if the girl knew she was walking on thin ice. She raised a hand uncertainly, not sure if Mieky was going to round on her too.

"Good." Mikey murmured. He turned to Cyzarine, who seemed to have matured recently. "Yes?"

Cyzarine shifted slightly. "S-So...what happens now?" I must sound like a scared five-year-old, but at least I'm trying, I guess...

"You keep on your guard." Mikey softened his voice slightly. "We have a doorman now. But I don't want people leaving on their own. I need to meet with Carden and his clan to sort everything out. I trust no one is going to try and back out?"

Jade remained motionless, but smiled slightly. Never backing out if there's ass-kicking involved.

Cyzarine hesitated but then shook her head. "I'm in." she murmured. There was never a question about it. If you back out then you die.

"Good." Mikey murmured. He rubbed his face with his hands. Suddenly, he just looked tired and mortal. "I never wanted it to come to this." He mumbled. "I was fine with us living everything our own way. It was Blackinton that forced us into this war. I can't forget what he's done."

Jade opted for being respectful. She inclined her head. "We'll make him pay." She was starting to channel her own anger into the war.

Mikey nodded shortly. "I know there are young children here." He said, voicing something that he'd heard being mumbled. "My son is among them. Nick will look after them."

Cyzarine nodded, looking down again. So it's his fault things can't be simple. She glanced up at Jade's words and nodded again. "We will." she agreed quietly.

Mikey rubbed his eyes again. "Meeting dismissed." He said tiredly. "If anything ever needs to be discussed, come and find me. But..." This is going to sound ridiculous. "No one touch Blackinton."

Cyzarine frowned as well but nodded and scurried away. "I'm going to check the egg." she told Demyx as she passed him, before starting over to the door. She stopped suddenly as a thought hit her.

"It enables me to tell where Blackinton is." Mikey said quietly. "It means that he can't hurt me too much, if he doesn't want to feel it. And anyway, I don't think it can be blocked. But thank you for offering."
