Mikey's eyes fluttered open. He looked around blearily, wondering why he felt so much colder then usual.

Adelaide happily cuddled into Mikey's chest in her sleep.

"Oh." Mikey realised suddenly. It all came rushing back to him.

Adelaide frowned slightly in her sleep and opened and closed her mouth a few times.

Mikey watched Adelaide quietly, a small frown on his face.

Adelaide opened her eyes slowly and blinked at Mikey.

Mikey smiled sadly at her, feeling tireder than he had been before.

Adelaide patted Mikey's chest gently with a questioning look in her eyes.

"Hmm?" Mikey's drawl lengthened the word slightly. He chuckled.

Adelaide opened her mouth and bit Mikey gently hoping he'd get the idea.

"Oh..." An idea sparked in Mikey's mind. "Not yet." He told Adelaide, swinging out of bed.

Adelaide snuggled into his arms patiently watching him to see when it was time.

Mikey walked down the stairs quickly, singing softly to Adelaide to keep her happy. He walked into the kitchen and pulled out a large bar of cooking chocolate. He put it in a bowl and put it in the microwave.

Adelaide watched with round eyes and pointed at the microwave, "Wa?"

Mikey shook his head. "Mike-row-wave." He said slowly. He pulled the bowl out as the microwave beeped and picked up a spoon. The small man dipped the spoon in the bowl and held it out to Adelaide.

"Myco?" Adelaide took the spoon in both hands and smelled it curiously.

Mikey nodded with a chuckle. "Close enough." He gently wrestled the spoon out her hands and placed it in her mouth.

Adelaide blinked in confusion then squealed happily. "Myco!"

Mikey swung up to sit on the counter, holding Adelaide gently.

"Da myco?" Adelaide asked after she licked the spoon happily.
