William frowned, cradling his child in his arms. It whined and he gently moved his arms to bounce it around. It reached for his hair and held onto it. "What if it doesn't work?" he asked, eyes full of worry.

"It's going to work. I promise it's going to work. I'll hunt him down until we get our children back." He kissed William's forehead. He didn't want to say so, but he blamed him a little for running away with the children.

William could tell that Mike blamed him, and it made him feel even worse. He offered his finger to the child in his arms, and Joshua slowly put his mouth around it, strugglng to bite a small entrance.

"Hey, don't do that, now." Mike took William's hand away from his baby and kissed his finger.

William looked up at Mike, slightly confused. "Why not?"

"My boyfriend isn't baby food," Mike replied. "It's a bit creepy."

William gave Mike an odd look. "He has to eat somehow. And my blood has the nutrients."

Mike shuddered. "I'm not used to this whole vampire baby thing just yet. Do what you think is best." He grimaced.

William sighed and stood up, unable to keep his back completely straight. He began walking out of the room so he could feed his child.

Mike followed slowly. "Biiiill," he whined. "I'll get used to it. I promise."

William headed up the stairs, listening as Mike followed. At least their less gruesome, he thought about Sisky and her child. He doesn't even like it when I have to feed ours.

"William, damnit," Mike protested. "Neither of us liked the either of blood-drinking babies, remember?" He pouted. "It's just new to me. It's kind of weird, that's all."

William sat down when he reached the top of the stairs, offering his finger to Joshua again. The baby tried once more to take it in its mouth, but its fangs were too small to open a cut.

Mike sat down next to William in the little space he had left. He placed his head on his shoulder and batted his eyelashes. "Sorry?"

"Well I can't just stop feeding him," William whispered, giving up and biting into his own finger before giving it back to the child. "Your fangs are too small," he told the baby quietly, poking it's nose with the small finger on the hand that he fed his child with.

Michael walked into the living room with a baby in each arm and noticed Sisky. "Where are William and Mike? And... Ryland has a message for you outside."

Mike heard Michael's voice, but guessed he wasn't talking to him since he couldn't hear the words. He looked at his child.

"Upstairs I think," Sisky said in a quiet voice and put her daughter down near Michael's feet. "Follow Chizzy he's nice. Mommy has to go outside." She turned to talk to the vampire.

William's eyes widened when he heard the sentence. He quickly handed Joshua to Mike and raced down the stairs to Michael.

William walked over to the guitarist, taking both children and balancing them in his one good arm. He looked down at them with wide eyes, noticing that they both had some small bruises.

Mike stayed at a good distance from both men, afraid of what he might find out. "How are they?"

Michael's eyes said 'how could you?' but he remained silent. A little kitten meowed pitifully by his feet.

William handed his children back over to Michael and walked outside quickly in utter silence.
