Mike reached home after was seemed like an eternity. Joshua was still screaming, and William barely moved. He kicked the door. "Sisky? Michael? Open up, anyone. Please."

William slumped further down in Mike's arms, the blood from his wound falling at a slightly faster rate. He still had blood on his lips from where he had vomitted earlier.

Sisky walked to the door timidly, Caitlyn sitting on her shoulder as a kitten now. She opened it with downcast eyes and held it so Mike and William could enter.

Mike sniffled and smiled faintly at Sisky. "Thank you." He walked up to the living room and, without saying anything else, placed William down on the couch so he'd face his back. "Now to take out the knife..."

William murmured something in his unconscious state. He could still hear his son screaming at the top of his lungs.

Sisky thought it was a good time to leave so she walked over to grab the baby things she'd bought with Matt.

"Sisky," Mike called. He removed the screaming child from his shirt and held him. "Can you take care for this little guy for a second? I can't..."

William's shoulder blades tightened at Mike's last question. THe knife pushed itself in further. He whimpered.

Sisky sighed and put the bags down, walking over to take the baby and hold him for awhile. Caitlyn looked at the crying child curiously from her shoulder.

"I'm really sorry," he told the girl. "It's an emergency." He took his shirt off, ready to use it as a blanket, and placed a hand on William's shoulder. "Calm down. This is going to hurt, but I promise I'll make it quick. Just relax." He wrapped his fingers around the handle of the knife and took it off, wincing at the sound it made. He put his shirt over the wound before too much blood could run out.

William hissed, his shoulders still tense. "Pass him here," he whispered softly, noticing that his child was still crying. He didn't really care what condition he was in anymore.

Sisky obediently passed the child over and moved away from the two of them again.

William smiled over at Sisky for a moment before wrapping his arms carefully around his son. The child was still screaming, both afraid and tired. William held his close, his shoulder blades having to tense again so that he could shift to support the child's neck. "Shh," he whispered softly, running his hand over the child's small head gingerly.

"Try not to move too much," Mike warned his boyfriend. He pressed on the wound to absorb the blood. "I'm going to chop off the head of whoever did this."

William shrugged, wincing as he did so. He kissed his child's tiny forehead. The baby clenched its small fists as it cried, tear stains all over its face. He nuzzled into the child, and it began to calm down slightly.

Mike decided that it was better to only keep the shirt on William's back without doing anything else until it bled less. "Do you still want to leave?"

"Only to go find my other children," he said quietly, gently running a finger over his child's tiny eyelid. He was amazed by how beautiful something so small could. He realized how much Joshua resembled Mike.

"Our children." Mike kissed the side of William's head. "And I'm allowed to leave with you?"

William turned his head and looked at Mike. "I can't exactly hold the two of them at once," he smiled weakly, exhausted. He smiled when his son stopped crying, only to have the hiccups. "Aww," he whispered, playing with his child's hair. "He looks exactly like you..."

Mike smiled. "He looks like both of us. They all do." He kissed William's hair again. "Can we still raise them together?"

William nodded, watching as his son's small frame shook violently with each hiccup. The little boy let out a whine.

Mike bent his back to look over William and poke his son's nose. "Hey you."

The baby hiccupped again, eyes wide. It whined and reached a tiny hand out to Mike's finger, trying desperately to grasp it.

Mike took Joshua's little hand and smiled. "Don't you let your mommy run away like that again."

The little boy grasped Mike's hand and snuggled into it, trying to show the man that he needed him.
