Angel sat down. "Is that your mother?" he gently turned the cat around to face the taller one.

Angel stroked the kitten's head again. he frowned. "Where have the people in there gone?"

Caitlyn scampered over to Sisky and turned back into a baby with a small popping noise. She reached out and took her mother's ear into her mouth.

Angel blinked. "Uhh, I don't think you should be doing that." He gently took the cat's ear out of the baby's mouth.

Sisky scooted away so she would have space to change, "Thank you." She rubbed her ear. "She has teeth."

"We're changlings. Fairies." Sisky reached out to play with Caitlyn's little wings gently. The baby didn't know how to pull them in yet.

"It's okay I was only crying," Sisky wiped her face on her sleeve. "Unless you watched me change back..." She blushed.

"Why were you crying?" Angel asked in concern. The girl didn't look much older than him - not that he was sure how old he was.

"This is Mike's kid," Sisky indicated Caitlyn. "But he already has William and they live here together so I'm not really welcome. I'm not in love with Mike though so it's okay but I don't want anyone getting the wrong idea."
