William ran all the way until he reached Dresden Avenue. Hurrying, he pulled out a key and unlocked the door, still crying as he entered the house. He frowned at the stranger on the couch before wandering up the stairs, still crying.

William stopped when he reached upstairs. Slowly, he turned back around, walking down to the entryway. He went over to the small table where Mike had set the bottle of vodka that William had brought home the other night. He picked it up, staring at it for a moment before taking it with him back up the stairs. He walked into their bedroom and layed down on the bed, tears still falling from his eyes.

Slowly, William opened the bottom. He bit his lip, repulsed. It was cheap and smelled hurrendous. It's worth a try... Looking at his stomach as he drank, William carefully swallowed large gulps of the drink, trying to finish it as fast as possible. It tasted disgusting, and it burned all the way down his throat, but he needed it.

Michael opened the door and ran around the house looking for William. He guessed since the man would be upstairs because Bill was on the couch.

With still over half a bottle left, even after he had drank more than three glasses full at least, William tried to finish the rest as fast as he could before Michael found him.

"William!" Michael rushed over to take the bottle away from him. "You're pregnant!"

William had nearly finished the bottle by the time Michael had reached him. "I don't care!" he sobbed. "I just want Mike back..."

"That's not the way to do it," Michael gently pried the bottle away.

William only sobbed harder, reaching for a pillow behind himself and hugging it, burying his face and crying.

Michael sat down on the edge of the bed and rubbed William's back. "It's okay William. He'll be back soon. He lives here. He probably just went to go pick something up."

William couldn't help but to curl up to Michael as he cried. "I wanted this to work out so badly...," he sobbed.

"I'm sure he loves you," Michael held William gently. "He told me to look after you while he's out."

William was still crying. "I-I just want him to come back," he could barely whisper. The alcohol had burned his throat badly.

Michael rubbed William's back soothingly. "Calm down. I'm sure he's on his way."

Mike's hands were full and the cold had made his pale fingers rigid and painful. He knocked his head against the door, hoping it was loud enough to be heard. He shuddered.

William was still crying when he heard the knock on the door. Eyes widening, he looked at Michael. He gave the man a hug before hurrying down the stairs and opening the door.

Mike, whose forehead had been pressed against the door a second before, almost fell forward. He reeked of alcohol but the substance didn't seem to be affecting him. He raised both trembling hands. "I bought you flowers and pastries," he whispered with a faint smile. He felt as if he was ready to collapse at any moment. "I love you?" he said even more quietly, afraid of what the boy's reaction might be.

Michael listened intently to what was happening downstairs. He smiled and moved out of the bedroom.

William took in the sight in front of him piece by piece. Mike smelled of alcohol, but William couldn't judge him; he had been drinking himself. He noticed that the guitarist was freezing. He saw the love and the fear in his eyes as well. William's eyes widened a little, and he started crying again. He helped Mike into the house, closing the door behind him. He helped the man sit everything down on the small table before wrapping his arms around Mike. He buried his face in the crook of the man's neck and cried.

"I bought you flowers," Mike repeated, he himself crying. "A-and pastries..." He dropped both packages, unable to hold them anymore, and attempted to wrap his arms around William. His fingers wouldn't close on the boy's hair, and it only made him cry more.

Seeing how cold Mike was only made William cry harder. He reached behind himself and grabbed Mike's hands, sliding them into his own warm ones. He tried to warm Mike up any way he could.

Mike gently pressed his lip's against William's. "Sorry, they're cold..." He gave him a small apologetic smile, tears still running down his cheeks. He tilted his head in direction of one of the bags. "It's not a wedding but it's a start."

Smiling through his tears, William realized that his stomach was warmer than his hands. Carefully, he moved Mike's hands under his shirt to warm them. He moved, pressing his lips against Mike's, attempting to keep them warm.

Mike kissed William back, softly, trying to taste the man's lips and mouth. His palms were already significantly warmer. "Do you love me, William?"

Tears still falling from his eyes, William nodded almost frantically. He kept his hands over Mike's under his shirt, massaging the guitarist's skin to help them warm up on his stomach.
