Mikey didn't cry. He didn't allow himself to cry. Slowly, he moved into a sitting position.

Aliceabella tried desperatly to breath properly but felt the breath catch in her throat and come out as a scream.

"Don't you Goddamn dare!" Mikey staggered upright. His stomach began to throb painfully. He suddenly pushed the pain into Ryland, hoping it would work.

Aliceabella stared up at Ryland, her eyes nearly closed as she felt herself begin to slip into unconciousness. "Don't leave me...I need someone, anyone..."

Ryland paused. He turned to glare at Mikey and push the pain back.

Mikey's hands flew up as though they would protect him. "Take your bit piece and go."

Aliceabella whimpered, she didn't like this, she felt like she was going numb...She let out another quiet whimper before her eyes closed.

Ryland rolled his eyes and walked back to retrieve Aliceabella. "You're lucky you're pregnant, Russell."

Mikey's eyes were huge and dark as he stared at Ryland. "Trust me." He said quietly. "I know."

Aliceabella mumbled something under her breath, feeling the strange numbness beginning to consume her.

Mikey reached for his clothes, not even bothering to reply. His stomach stretched the skin.

Silently, Mikey walked up the stairs, hollow eyes not focusing on anything. He turned the shower on and sat underneath it, trembling.

Aliceabella nodded weakly, nuzzling into his chest without truely realising she'd done it.

The avian sat under the warm spray, hugging his knees. He sobbed, tears mixing with the water.

Mikey leant his head back on the tiled walls. "I let him do that..." He whispered. He stroked his stomach. "I'm sorry I let him do that to you."
