Mikey pressed the heels of his hands to his eyes, composing himself. He rested a hand on his stomach. "Seven of you, hmm?" He murmured. "Got my work cut out."

Nick chuckled quietly. "The baby army of mini!Mikeys!" he teased, pushing through the door. He squeezed onto the bed.

Mikey frowned. "Asshole." He muttered, easing himself into a sitting position. "If you weren't dead, I'd set the army of mini!Mikeys - and Andrews, need I remind you - on you." he blinked and rubbed his eyes. "Who's the kid?"

"You tell me." Nick gently placed the little girl in her father's arms. "I believe the man who carried her is one Mikey Russell..."

Mikey gently stroked her face. He'd forgotten already how a newborn baby looked. "Veda." He whispered quietly. "This is too much, Nick."

"Train them all to be as violent as Nils and set them on Carden." Nick cackled quietly, stroking his lover's hair. The newly christened Veda slowly disappeared.

Mikey leant into Nick's embrace. "Andrew's a wonderful parent." He mumbled, before biting his lip.

"He's great with Nils." Nick agreed, pushing Mikey's hair out his eyes. "I quote, 'I love you, you little meanie'."

Mikey giggled to himself, a hand on his stomach. "I take it back." He suddenly told his unborn children. "I don't hate you. You're going to be beautiful. All of you."

Nick smiled softly. He'd never seen Mikey like this. "And you'll be seeing lots of Uncle Nick if your Papa says so." He told them. "But Uncle Nick loves you more than death already."

"He's fine with it." Mikey traced a pattern on his protrouding stomach. "We're just not going to call you a good influence."

"I'll be more popular with them if I'm a bad influence." Nick cackled again. He bent down to move Mikey's shirt up and kissed his stomach gently. "You alright for me to leave you?" The avian nodded.

Mikey rubbed his face after Nick had disappeared, his foul mood gone. He reached for his hairbrush.

Aliceabella followed Ryland, faintly wondering why Ryland was coming here when he clearly didn't think very highly of the Avians.

Ryland entered Mandible House boldly as if he had business there, "You might want to wait here." He made his facial expression softer so it would be easier to assume he was coming to make peace.

Mikey slammed his fists into the punch bag, before adding in a few kicks as well. He grunted. It was harder than it had been before.
