Mikey squeaked and glared at Mike, before turning his head back to the scenario in front.

Mike shrugged apologetically and watched, noticing the woman.

Axe glared up at him, clenching her teeth to bite back more sobs. "He's stuck me here!" she yelled. "He stuck me here! I'm Akai Megami - one of his most powerful Kitsunes! And he did this to me! Because of Russell!"

"I'm sure Mikey didn't know that," Butcher hoped that his lover didn't but he couldn't be sure.

Mikey blinked and scratched the top of his head.

Mike jumped over the railing and spread his wings, landing softly on the floor. He walked up to where Butcher was.

Axe glared at him. "It wasn't his job to do." she growled. "It's his fault! All I can do is transform and..." she trailed off, smirking suddenly. "And possess people."
With a wild snarl, she leant at Butcher, a dark substance sinking beneath his fingernails.

"What the-?" Butcher jerked back violently.

"Andrew!" Mikey screamed, revealing himself.

Mike stepped back to the bottom of the stairs. "Stay where you are," he told Mikey.

Axe smirked triumphantly, watching Butcher's reaction as she took over his mind. "I love this power." she told Mikey and Mike triumphantly, moving to stand just behind Butcher. An avian shield. Perfect.

Butcher tried to move his muscles but found he was unable to. This is bad... GET OUT!!!

Mikey shot Mike a scathing look, soaring to stand next to him. "What have you done to him?" He whispered.

Mike glared at the woman, ready to fight if he had to.

Axe grinned nastily and drew a finger along Butcher's jawline teasingly. Aww, don't be so cold, Andrew. I just wanna have a little fun.
Axe smirked at Mikey triumphantly. "Is he yours?" she asked coldly. "Or rather; was he yours?"

If Butcher could narrow his eyes he would have and he would have added a snarl for good measure. Let. Me. Go.

"Get. Your. Hands. Off. Him." Mikey snarled, his fangs bared.

"Mikey, calm down," Mike muttered. "It's you she wants."

Axe bared her own fangs at Mikey, grinning still. "Why should I? It's not like he's objecting." She grinned wider. Oh, calm down Andrew. See? You're no match for me. Even in her own mind, Axe's tone was sweet yet triumphant.

Butcher withdrew into the darker corners of his mind to rethink his situation, his eyes went blank as he surrendered complete control of his body.

Mikey turned to glare bitterly at Mike. "Like your clan wanted Angel and ended up killing Nick?" He snarled. "Like Blackinton wanted Andrew and took me?" He turned back to the girl. "I said let him go."

Mike's body shook. He stepped out of Mikey's way.

Axe smirked triumphantly, barely able to contain her glee. She was still partially behind Butcher. "Want him back? Have him!" she cackled, pushing Butcher across the entrance hall, smirking as his body fell and he slid towards on his back.

Butcher was vaguely aware of physical pain in the hidden part of his mind he was containing his consciousness in but he figured his ability would heal anything serious automatically.

"Andrew!" Mikey dashed across to kneel beside his lover.
