Curiosty killed the cat because the cat met me

Axe sauntered up to the front door and smirked, knocking calmly. She quickly transformed into her nine-tailed albino fox form and waited for the door to open.

Axe's eyes narrowed on the door impatiently, before she started pacing back and forth on the doorstep. "Open the door..." she growled to herself, her tails swishing back in forth as well.

"Hello?" Butcher called as he walked down the stairs. "Is someone still there?"

Axe continued pacing, seriously contemplating finding another way in.

Butcher finally got to the door, unsure if there was actually someone outside or not. He pulled it open and looked around eye level, seriously confused and wondering if he had walked into a trap of some kind.

Axe's eyes narrowed on the avian. "Where is Mikey Russell?" she asked coldly, not caring that she was a talking albino fox with nine tails to him.

Butcher looked sharply down. "He lives here." He was startled to say the least. A talking fox with multiple tails was something to get used to.

Axe gave a small snort of disgust and sat down on the doorstep, glaring up at Butcher. "I know that. Where is he?" she snarled.

"Why do you want to know?" Butcher frowned, not liking the stranger's tone.

Axe rolled her eyes again. "Just tell me, Avian."

"I can't do that in good conscience if you plan to hurt him," Butcher was glad he left William and Nils behind. The pregnant vampire didn't need to worry about something like this.

Axe surveyed him critcally before smirking. A bright white light surrounded her suddenly.

"What are you?" Butcher backed up.

Axe stood up, now in her human form. She smirked and stepped forwards. Her fox ears and tail twitched gently. "Axe."

Butcher instinctively pulled his wings in. "What do you want?"

Axe smirked. "Mikey Russell." she stated calmly. Her smirk dropped. "He did my job. I want to...thank him." Her smirk returned.

"By thank I assmume you don't mean a handshake," Butcher frowned.

Axe glared at him and tossed her red hair over her shoulder. "I am a servant of Inari!" she yelled. "How dare he do His work when I was sent?!"

"Uh...?" It obviously didn't mean anything to Butcher. "What?"

Axe glared at him again. "Just tell me where he is!" she snapped. She was trembling now. "Tell me so I can make him pay for what he did to me!"

"What did he do to you?" Butcher didn't know whether he should be concerned or confused and settled on both, but he didn't move from his spot.

Axe continued shakign, now trying not to cry as she remembered what had happened. "He ruined everything! All I had to do was punish that man and be done! But he got in the way and now Inari has me stuck here!" she let out a sob and fell to her knees.

"You can't just leave?" Butcher scratched his head. "I'm sorry but I have no idea what you're talking about."
