Mikey rested a hand on his stomach. "The baby will be more advanced than him..." He realised slowly.

Chase snuggled into his papa and looked around contentedly.

"Really?" Butcher looked up.

"He doesn't even have teeth yet." Mikey pointed out. "She'll be born with teeth and lots of energy."

"Do you think it will affect him when he gets older?" Butcher petted Chase's hair and his eyes started to close.

Mikey shrugged, watching his children with warm russet eyes.

Reve stared back at Mikey with a toothy grin.

"I wonder when they'll be hungry," Butcher watched Chase fall asleep.

Mikey gave Butcher a sulky look.

On his own now, Nils yawned and stretched, looking around with bright sleepy eyes.

Adelaide decided to return to Tamsin. She gave Mikey a big smile and spread her wings to fly back over to her sister. She fell back down halfway and frowned before taking off again.

"ADDEH!" Tamsin squealed happly, turning into a puppy to lick her sister's face.

Adelaide giggled and hugged Tamsin the puppy.

"Too bad they can't all get along like that," Butcher smiled.

Nils sulked, hiding his head under his wing.

Mikey shrugged. "I never had brothers or sisters, but aren't they supposed to fight?"

Mikey chuckled. "Which is a good thing, I s'pose." He drummed his fingers on his stomach thoughtfully.

"It's going to be interesting when they're teenagers," Butcher winced.

Butcher squeaked and looked away from Mikey quickly. "I didn't say anything."

Mikey chuckled, lolling his head back onto his pillow.

Nils mumbled to himself and chewed at his wing.

"What are you thinking about, Nils?" Butcher shifted his attention to the oldest boy.

Nils' head shot up immeadiately, feathers poking out his mouth. He mumbled something incoherant and held out his arms.

Butcher shifted Chase carefully and put him down so he could sleep before reaching out for Nils. "Don't eat your feathers, little man."
