Hell hath no lungs like Hatty

Cyzarine wriggled uncomfortably, looking away as she realised what she must have done. If he had appeared after Demyx had turned into him, then Cyzarine must have unintentionally created a link - however small - which Garland then strengthened.
Cyzarine started to cry quietly, afraid of what she'd unleashed.

Demyx hugged her gently. "It's alright." He rocked her gently, kissing her forehead.

Cyzarine shook her head and tried to explain what she'd done. Her eyes widened as she finished. He could probably find them through the link - Cyzarine shuddered after voicing this as well.
"What are we going to do?" she whispered, hugging Demyx again.

Demyx shook his head slowly. "I don't know." He told her honestly.

Cyzarine burried her face in the crook of his neck, thinking as hard as she could before Garland or the henchman managed to find them. She briefly wondered if Garland knew about the link, before going back to what to do about it.

Demyx hugged Cyzarine closer, pausing as he heard footsteps. Thankfully they passed their room, probably just an Avian walking around or something...He hoped.

Cyzarine stiffened as she heard the footsteps, but like Demyx tried to pass it off as an Avian walking around. Then again, msot people avoided her room, since it wa sthe only one on the corridor and she, well, a freak.
She hugged him back tightly, now wondering if she would be able to sense where Garland was, either on her own or by tapping inot the link between him and Demyx. She decided not to.

Demyx pulled Cyzarine onto his lap and began fiddling with a strand of hair. "Now what do we do?" He wondered outloud.

Cyzarine smiled at him and shrugged. She liked peopel playing her hair, even though she probably wouldn't admit it out loud. "I'm not sure." she murmured. "Maybe I could try tapping into the connection...see where Garland is..." she trailed off and averted her eyes, wishing she'd never spoken.

Demyx slowly started to plait a strand of her hair a little. "Do what you think will help. I don't know much about this link stuff."

Cyzarine's smile widened happily, before she nodded a little, not wanting to disturb the plait. "Okay. Umm, I may end up seeing some thought or something so...sorry. I'll try not to, okay?"

Demyx nodded. "Sure, no problem." He finished the little plait and moved onto another.

Cyzarine giggled. "You'll never get through all my hair." she told him lightly. Closing her eyes she relaxed as much as possible before entering his mind, probing lightly for the connection.
She nudged it gently and behind her eyelids her pupils glowed white. The backs of her eyes grew hot until Cyzarine's eyes snapped open. She seemed to be in a trance.
"Where are you..." she breathed, seemingly looking directly through Demyx.

Demyx blinked, unsure if he should reply to what she said or not. In the end he didnt and got back to doing her hair.

Pupils still glowing eerily, Cyzarine's eyes fluttered clsoed again. She dove back into the connection, searching past waves of thought and poorly-built barriers until she was in the midst of Garland's mind.
She shuddered involuntarily as a few vengeful thoughts and imaginations hit her. Her brow crased into a slight frown. She felt a headache coming on... Cyzarine pulled a slight face at this.

Demyx watched Cyzarine intently, blinking as he saw her frown. Was she going to be ok?

Cyzarine continued searching through Garland's mind, dodging thoughts, imaginations and various things she really didn't want to think about. She had to keep completely silent, otherwise Garland might realise she was there. That wasn't good, she knew that much.
Thinking quickly, she took a tendrel of the connect and wrapped it loosely round her waist, giving her a lifeline as such. She still didn't know where he was, though. It was quite frustrating, really.
As Demyx stopped toying with her hair, Cyzarine felt her concentration start to waver. Demyx. she tried. Keep playing with my hair. Please.
She glanced round, hoping only Demyx had heard her despite all logic suggested otherwise.

Demyx nodded a little and began running his fingers through her hair gently, then starting to braid it.

Cyzarine glanced round warily, aware that Demyx had done as she had asked. Sure her concentration was back but due to the smirk that seemed to be inside Garland's very mind, he was aware of what was going on.
As the connection began to waver, Cyzarine jumped back into Demyx's mind, before returning to her own.
"Ah." she murmured, as her eyes snapped open, normal again. "Not good."

Demyx frowned. "What's wrong?" He asked, unsure what could have gone wrong.

Cyzarine pulled a face. "Well, there's good news, bad news and really bad news. The good news is: I'm okay. Bad news is: I still don't know where Garland is. Really bad news: if he didn't know about the link before he does now. He might even be on his way here now, though I guess that's the extra-really bad news."

Demyx gulped and stood up. "Alright first things first." He walked over to the door and locked it, which would them safe for about oh...five seconds. "Is there anyway we could get out of here without going out the front door? If we leave this room we'll be open targets."

Cyzarine bit her lip. "The window is probably jammed shut." she admitted, glancing round. "And the one in the bathroom is too small for me to get through. My wings would get stuck, it would take too long." She frowned, trying to think of another way out.

Hatty hummed softly to herself as she zoomed through the corridors, passing various figures as she went. She frowned and back-tracked to double check a face, her eyes widening as she realised who it was.
"Please don't see me-please don't see me-please don't see me...!!" she mumbled, trying to fly off again but not daring to go too fast in case he
heard her instead.

Demyx glanced a the window. "Jammed my backside!" He grabbed his guitar case and went over to the window. "I can smash it so we can get out, that sound ok with you?"

Garland paused as he felt an odd little ball of light go past him, but dismissed it as one of the freaky inhabitants of the house. He continued looking for Demyx and Cyzarine, not caring why he could hear someone whispering; please don't see me, over and over again.

Cyzarine nodded. "It's not the window I'm worried about, though - we're on the third floor, with about five bramble bushes below." She paused. "I always got the bad room."

Hatty sighed in relief as she made it round the corner. "...CYZIIIIIEE!!" she shrieked, zooming off again. She had assumed she hadn't been heard, and was now calling out to Cyzarine as loudly as possible.
