Cleansing the soul

Aliceabella dozed off in the chair, Vlad sitting on her stomach.

Satomi paled. "Chao-san's dead?!"

Evangeline nodded, inspecting her fingernails. "Hai."

Aliceabella slept dreamlessly.

Satomi grew even paler. "Bu-But...Who's going to run Chao Bao Zi?!"

Evangeline scowled at her. "That's not my problem!" she snapped. She looked to a robot. "Turn it off. Later, Hakase."

Aliceabella woke up as Vlad began patting her face.

Evangeline smirked as the screen went blank, cutting off Satomi's protests.

"Have you finished talking to crazy people?" Aliceabella mumbled sleepily.

Evangeline looked round. "Me? Yes, except you're still here." she teased.

Aliceabella pouted, "I'm not crazy, just special."

Evangeline smirked. "Keep telling yourself that."

Aliceabella stood up, "What are we going to do now?"
Vlad clung to his mother sleepily.

Evangeline shrugged. "I'm going to sleep." she yawned. "You can do as you wish."

"I'll come too." Aliceabella smiled, "I'll have to take Vlad back to his room first thought."

Evangeline nodded. "Okay."

Aliceabella padded off in the direction of Vlad's room.

Evangeline headed towards her own room, stretching lazily.

Aliceabella placed Vlad in his crib before she headed off towards Evangeline's room.

Evangeline flopped down on her bed, yawning. She shrugged her robe off andtossed it aside, lying on her stomach.

Aliceabella opened the door and stepped inside, "Eva?"

Evangeline glanced up. "Hai?" She stretched again, her short 10-year-old legs lifting up. Without her robe she was naked again.

Aliceabella tilted her head, "Are you going to stay looking like a ten year old?" It made her feel a little uncomfortable.

Evangeline pulled a face. "Maybe. Does it bother you?"

"Well...No, it's just..." Aliceabella frowned, "I suppose in a way it does."

Evangeline scowled and rolled onto her back. "I hate this stupid form. Close your eyes."

"Okay..." Aliceabella closed her eyes obediantly.
