Cleansing the soul

Evangeline's eyes widened as she tripped over something on the floor. She winced as she landed on her back. "Lic lac la lac lilac!"

Damian rolled his eyes and clicked his fingers, ropes gagged Evangeline.
Aliceabella blinked and swayed, slumping down on the floor.

Evangeline pulled at the gag, stumbling to her feet again.

Damian rolled his eyes, "Oh stop it, I'm not going to hurt you. However, I'm going to kill whoever made my son so distressed."

Evangeline smirked and tried to speak through the gag.

Damian raised an eyebrow, "No more chanting?"
Aliceabella hugged Vlad, staring at Damian fearfully. He could never be trusted.

Evangeline nodded.

Damian allowed the ropes to fall to the floor.
Aliceabella stood up slowly, moving to stand just behind Damian.

"Chao Lingshen is a somewhat mad scientist from my old class in Japan. She has a small army of robots and knows how to use talismans." Evangeline clenched her fists. "I'm gonna kill her."

Damian looked to his still whimpering son, "If I don't get there first." His eyes slid up to Aliceabella's face.
Aliceabella shifted arkwardly.

Evangeline watched the pair warily.

Damian reached out then tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears before he turned and looked back at Evangeline, "Where did that creature go?"
Aliceabella blinked in surprise and placed a hand on her cheek.

Evangeline raised an eyebrow. "Chao? Upstairs somewhere."

Damian nodded and swept out of the room.
Aliceabella stared after him, visibally shocked.

Evangeline followed. "I wish people would stop sneaking into my resort!" she grumbled loudly.

"Damians...Here to help, so I suppose that's okay." Aliceabella mumbled, scurrying after them.
Damian smirked and shot a glance back at her. "I'll do more than help." He muttered, causing Aliceabella to blush.

Evangeline looked around for Chao.

Aliceabella stuck close to Evangeline, not wanting to be near Damian when he was being so strange.
The blonde vampire headed into a room, "Ah, there you are."

Chao glanced up. "Hmm?"
Evangeline growled quietly.

Damian smirked and bowed, "Count Damian James Alucard of the Royal Vampire Courts, and you are?..."
Aliceabella found herself staring at Damian, blush vivid on her pale cheeks.

Chao's eyebrows rose and her gaze flickered to Evangeline. "What did you do now?" she growled.

"Ahem." Damian stepped in front of Evangeline, "I do believe I was talking to you. Now, introduce yourself, or are you too pathetic to have a title?"
Aliceabella forced back a laugh, she'd always liked Damian when he was like this.

Chao stood up and glared at Damian. "Chao Lingshen, owner of Chao Bao Zi, futuristic martian scientist."

Damian nodded, as if in thought, "Am I supposed to be impressed or?..."
Aliceabella giggled.

Chao rolled her eyes. "I worked for my title unlike yourself. Oh, and have you ever sucessfully invented a time travel device?"
Evangeline coughed quietly. "Good point..." she muttered.
