Cleansing the soul

Evangeline looked up as Aliceabella re-entered, Chachamora behind her. Chachazero let out a faint cackle at the sight of Vlad.

Chachamaru looked round the tower, senses on full. She was unable to shake the feeling someone was following her, even though she couldn't pinpoint their location.

Aliceabella sat down, focusing on making sure Vlad got the right amount of nuitriants.

Evangeline scowled at the reel of useless information, visibly switching off.

Chachamaru whiped round suddenly, just in time to receive a sharp kick to the face. She flew backwards, crashing into the wall loudly. Quick as she may be, she was still a 300 pound robot.

Vlad pulled back as he heard a crash. He began screaming.
Aliceabella jumped in alarm.

Evangeline spun round, eyes wide. "What the-?!" she started off on a list of Japanese and European sursewords under her breath, marching in the direction the crash had come from. "Be right back, Hakase!" she yelled over her shoulder.

Aliceabella frowned, "Do you want me to come?"

Evangeline nodded. "Your pyrokinesis could be useful. Leave the Boya here, though. Chachanamu will take care of him."

Aliceabella placed Vlad on the chair and followed Evangeline.

Evangeline frowned in worry as multiple crashes followed the first one.

Chachamaru fought back sharply, taking down four robots before getting swamped by another three. A cloaked and hooded figure watched, cackling quietly.

Aliceabella followed, "What's wrong?" She asked.

Evangeline shook her head. "Chachamaru is near-unbeatable. She would have dispatched any minor threats by now."

Aliceabella frowned and began humming in Romanian.

Evangeline blinked at the scene. Chachamaru was fighting three other robots. Evangeline's fury ignited again. "CHAO LINGSHEN!" she roared. The hooded figure turned, revealing a young Chinese girl with pink hair.

Aliceabella stared in shock.

Chao grinned cheekily and eyed Aliceabella. Evangeline growled and stepped between them protectively. "Leave. Now." she snarled.

Aliceabella frowned at Chao uneasily, she seemed vaugly familiar.

Chao's grin widened. "Actually, I was tihnking of staying. Negi-bozu was rumoured to be coming this way. After you, I suppose." Evangeline's left eyebrow twitched.

Aliceabella frowned and moved to stand next to Evangeline.

Evangeline glared at Chao. "What does that have to do with you?!" she snapped. "Leave now before I destroy you!"

Aliceabella glanced from Evangeline to Chao, confusion written plain on her face.

Chao shook her finger mockingly. "Now, now, Eva-chan!" Evangeline growled quietly, "Is that any way to treat your betters?" she snapped her fingers and a robot stepped up behind Aliceabella. Evangeline's eyes widened.

Aliceabella spotted the robot and set it on fire, squealing slightly.

Chao's eyes widened, then she regained her cocky composure. "Hmm. Good thing they were tested for flamability. They should still fuction..." the robot stood up and scooped up Aliceabella. "Ah, yes. Good."
Another robot pushed Evangeline forwards, distracting her long enough for Chao to put a piece of paper on her back.

Aliceabella flailed, "Put me down!" She screamed, "Do you have idea who I-" She cut herself off, hating the fact she always seemed to come out with that saying.

Evangeline tried to see the paper on her back. "What did you do?!" she yelled at Chao. Chao smirked and snapped her fingers again.
"Talisman, Talisman! Bind my enemy's magic!"
Evangeline let out a startled yell of fear and pain as glowing green ropes bound ehr arms tightly to her sides. Chao watched, smirking, as the robot suspended Evangeline from the ceiling, letting her hang there. "LET ME DOWN!"
Chao shrugged and Evangeline fell to the floor, green ropes still glowing.
