"Shh Reve. Papa wanted to speak," Butcher petted her hair.

Sisky tried to look up at Matt. Do we need to start planning their wedding?

Caitlyn uncovered her ears when Reve stopped screaming. "Urlfreen!"

Mikey nodded at her encouragingly. "And I thought Angel loved you."

Nils giggled, chewing on his fingers.

Matt squeezed Sisky's hip and stood up. I need to find Michael. He left silently out the window.

Tom flushed, biting his lip. He watched Matt leave in confusion.

"Pa?" Adelaide asked Mikey, patting Tom on the cheek.

"I have no idea what's going on," Butcher told Reve as she decided it would be fun to bite his sleeve tattoo again.

Sisky watched Matt go silently and curled herself up.

Caitlyn patted Nils' hair.

Right on cue, Nils sat up. "Papa!" He pointed to Butcher.

Adelaide twisted in Tom's arms as much as she could to look at Nils then Butcher, "Pa?"

Butcher nodded then winced as Reve's teeth sunk into his arm. "Reve, I'm not a teething toy... and you already have teeth."

Sisky tried to figure out why Matt would need to find Michael but came up empty, curling a little tighter.

"Papa?" Caitlyn repeated, unfamiliar with the word. "Bruha?"

"Pa," Adelaide smiled, having the names sorted out now. She turned back to Tom to watch him curiously.

Nils yawned and curled up.

Mikey stroked Reve's hair absentmindedly, watching his oldest child. He accidentally exposed the small tattoo on the inside of his arm.

Tom looked over at Butcher and gave him an absent smile, sadness in his eyes. How do you do it, Butcher? How do you keep Mikey yours?
